I think having the option to have the rear registration plate off or on is a brilliant feature, but however, some of us like our cars to be unique to others, giving the option to have both rear and front plates on or of would be feature well used.
As we can already choose the option for having the rear one on or off, we should also be able to have the front one too, looking at cars that have plastic grills and a big rectangle in the middle of it looks so off putting and not very attractive on most of my vehicles.
I’m having to put a front registration plate in awkward positions on most of my cars by using livery editor and it takes up a big ton of storage in my garage, say I wanted to have more than one of the same vehicle but different livery. I can’t because no storage.
Furthermore, having different shapes and sizes of registration plates will also look more realistic to what the car community does, for example, seeing a hexagon plate is very unusual but looks magnificent with a certain build.
To add to this, the option to make 4D/3D plates would be a really special feature and it would create more of a better design for the registration plates themselves.
