Option to disable windshield reflections

These are great for realism. But on some tracks and in certain light conditions, tuey are not great. Sometimes i just wanna focus on a circuit and hit the apex, morning, night or in the rain.

It would be wonderful to have an accessibility option which entirely disables the cockpit cam windshield reflections. The reflections can be very obtrusive for players with limited vision, and depending on the sun’s position and the track sector, the reflections can lead to sudden, rapid flashing onscreen.

Thanks for your consideration!

When I was doing a night race from cockpit view I noticed a very strong reflection of the interior on the windshield. With the movements of the arms with steering/shifting this was very distracting.
I don’t have limited vision, but it’s still very bothersome for me.
Being able to disable (or even reduce) these reflections would be great!

Absolutely, so over the top. How did these make it through quality assurance?

25% opacity on them if they want to look remotely realistic, and the option to switch off completely.

When using internal views with low FOV to be closer to the windshield they seem to just cutoff at random halfway up the screen, and at some points are utterly bewildering in their nature.

Please provide us with an option to disable this feature completely. It’s really hard on the eyes and has become more of a health issue than a gameplay option.

Agree 100%, need an option to turn them off entirely. Dumb feature that’s just distracting and unrealistic. If a car in real life had a windshield as reflective as the ones in game, NHTSA would be ordering the maker to do a recall because it would be a huge safety issue.

For PC only. For “ultra” settings. If you’re using a different option, please return to the parent directory and select the appropriate settings.

one year later thank you mr. legend

Even the Forza’s windshield reflection is inaccurate.
In reality, the driver’s hand is not reflected in the windshield.
The upper surface of the dashboard is only reflected broadly because of the windshield’s tilt.
The Forza forcefully compresses it flat and downward, so the image reflected on the steering wheel is flat and pressed up and down.

Such a simple thing, let us turn it off! Cars like the Ford GT GTE can be quite irritating in cockpit because of how throughly the reflection bloskc the view of the road. This is not realistic!

This works great, why is it so hard to offer an off when this is literally done with changing a 1 to a 0 in a file?

I must say it’s 2025 and with the newest Motorsport being a complete joke of a product. Developers should revisit Motorsport 7 and completely eliminate this, I should also state that I own a C7 Z06 in real life & there is literally no reflection of the dashboard at any time in the vehicle no matter what outside conditions are.
