Hi all.
I’ve been playing Horizon 4 for the last month and was considering getting back in on designing cars.
I did it back on some older titles and made some serious bank on some things.
However as someone with limited time, I.e. a family I’m feeling really despondent at the fact the tools haven’t been updated at all.
Now I know I’d personally would like to be able to use my PC to design stuff, as I work in photoshop and illustrator all day every day. However, I know it’s not that simple.
I would like to know about this idea and hopefully we might get a bit of response from the Devs. All I ask for is a pen tool with the ability to pull on the points to make curves and design your own shapes. Also possibly same tool to make layer masks. With this it would save loads of time, and make drawing logos and shapes a breeze and stop us all wasting time trying to put shapes together to make a shape, let alone the layers wasted.
Since the design store is different I’m seeing like 1 or 2 good designs and a F ton of cars painted one colour. I feel personally were seeing this as people are struggling with the tools we have, and its stifling the community. If I could use my desktop tools I would have been a busy bee, but with what we got? Well after 50 minutes trying to do the C West logo i realised that time could be spent with my family.
Dont get me wrong I dont want a image importer the copyright issue would be horrendous and the pornography would be equally a problem, but we need newer, better design tools if we want to see a more involved community, and more variety. Let alone if Horizon 5 was truly open world with instances worlds with 1,000s of players your car clubs and meets are going to be pretty boring, when no one can Express themselves.
So as I said, I’ve just come on to say to the Devs we need change, so who else is with me?
