Why is online racing so poor loads of laggy ppl and uneven racing the car class system is just miles out with some cars so much faster then the rest seems a lot of the cars are not in the right racing class at all its a shame tbh they made a good game then make online racing a joke

also it just means that they have tuned them better
(getting a adjustable gearbox is a good idea)
you can use exactly the same cars as they can so calm down
Some cars are just quicker than others. It depends on how the car is built, how it’s tuned, and how god the driver behind the wheel is.
When it comes to connection, Turn10 - or any dev for that matter - can only do so much; the rest depends on the internet connection of those in the lobby. If everyone has a good connection with even a half decent download speed and a good upload speed, there won’t be issues. Typically, people have really ow upload speeds and this causes connectivity issues when gaming online. It also depends on what else is connected to their network at home, how far away the lobby members are, and how many times the signal must be sent/resent and changed around.
To have great lobbies every time find friends you like to race with who also have good connections.
A quick driver with a good car can work miracles. I’ve been cussed out, yelled at, even accused of hacking (which is essentially impossible on XB1), all for being “too fast”.
The funny bit is:
a) I do not tune, or download shared tunes.
b) I’m not the fastest driver around. I’m not even the fastest guy on my friends list.
