So I’m playing online. And 3 of the 9 cars in the lobby aren’t even moving. Just sitting there. And I notice this in every race for about an hour. When I quit they were still there, so…

So I’m guessing people sign in and let their car sit and gain exp and level up their character and affinity. The thing that turned me on to this was one of the players was lvl 450 somethin’!

So question… Is this ok? Can I start doing it without worrying about getting booted/banned/whatever?

I mean as long as other people are doing it…

Cause with the level up spins, it’s basically free in game money. And Affinity is SO RIDICULOUSLY HARD TO GET MAXED…

(Before you flame me, I’m not promoting outright cheating. If this is a loophole then close it. If it’s not, then let everyone know they can get free spins this way. Hey, a spin is a spin, right?)

with the recent patch this shouldn’t be allowed. Not moving for 30 seconds or longer usually kicks you from the race.

Also, i believe their is some oddity where if someone quits mid race it keeps their ghosted car in the lobby even after they have left…

It is very inconsiderate to the people who actually want to race, people who sit afk are on the same level as crashers imo.

Static cars is also a connection issue sometimes; if you have a bad connection with a player they will not appear to be racing on their screen and you won’t on theirs.

Could be, but the races time out and these guys didn’t have a time.

And it takes forever for the races because they take as much time as humanly possible to finish the thing.
