I don’t know if anyone can help on this one but be nice to know I’m not the only one
I’ve been do the new S league today and have been driving the 22 LM Ferrari all morning
No problems with fuel until I do spa at night (day is no issue) but 3 times this has happen on the last lap on the S before the finish line car runs out of fuel and I have to cruise across the line so far I’ve made it every time
Now am I driving to hard / does my pit crew at the start think I have enough fuel / is this a bug or is T 10 doing to me for the giggles
Maybe you’re changing the way you are driving at night? I know I do, but if anything I’m saving fuel because I catch myself slowing down earlier because I know theres a turn coming up, I just cant see it. I don’t use the driveline either. That would probably help, but then where’s the challenge of night driving?
I think there is a glitch with the fuel. I know everybody will think I am crazy for saying this, but I ran out of fuel in the Nurburgring 125. I just finished the second lap in the Ferrari 458 Italia. Shortly after I passed the pit, the car coasted to a stop. The other cars all went right by me because the car would not move. It just sit there like a house on the side of the road and watched the other cars drive by. I used the rewind and went through the pit. Of course there was nobody in the pit and the car just slowly drove through the pit and ran out of gas on the pit exit. What makes me think that this is a glitch in the game is that I was driving with cosmetic damage on. Which I am assuming is why there was no crew in the pit area. I ran the Indy 250 earlier with no problems and no pitting. I also did Sebring last weekend with no problems. I always leave the settings on cosmetic damage.
Strange I’ve near had fuel iusses in my carrer mode only in today’s collision S league and I’ve done few endo races and few free play one I’m going on in a min I hope it don’t happen again lol
I had the moderate setback and the braking expert mod equiped during the race. I wonder if they caused problems. Next time I do the Nurburgring endurance I may remove one or both of them. Luckily it was early in the race, so I was only out 20 minutes time.
Haven’t experienced it personally but i’ve been in several s sim league races now where people have run out, seems to mainly be those driving the racing spec cars.
Fuel consumption seems to be a bit off though, in forza 5 i could do 20-30 laps and barely be down 1/8 of a tank, now the same cars are down nearly 1/2 of a tank after just 8.
Perhaps due to emissions or oil prices they have mixed in virtual ethanol or something to water it down… or the “water” on wet tracks is actually just leaking fuel from these races… it shall forever be a mystery until the next bugfix
