I was wondering if the online free roam is on the 360 version. When I look around I only see online road trip with, playground and other racing modes.
i dont see it either?? i see that you can invite friends to join you in single player as a online free roam. I dont see where you can just go join a random online free roam. I sure hope they have this or are going to add it.

When in the pause menu, scroll over to Social. Press into the Friends Screen and from there you can invite your friends by pressing on their name and inviting them, or by pressing the “Y” button to invite Xbox Live party.
Don’t worry, it took me 3 hours to figure this out.

and what do you do if no one is playing or you want a full lobby to roll with?

I personally believe they screwed up the online. Not just online freeroam, but the online racing as well. The racing series is a great idea, I just think it shouldn’t be the only option to race against other people.
It also isn’t fun, as you mentioned, to online free roam by yourself. I agree, you should be able to join lobbies with random players, and even open up lobbies so you don’t need an invite to join every single time.
Just my two cents.

The racing can get boring after a while( for me). I like to just go online and find people to cruise around with. Would be awesome to cruise on this map. Wonder why it’s not on this one.

Same here, I only have 1 person with it atm. I was hoping to go online with randoms like first one. Been cruising around map in p1 I finally got ;D Might have to start adding people from road trip.
Pause the game, press RB to go to the “social” tab, then go down to “online freeroam.”
Not sure which version bear is talking about but, on 360 version you can only invite friends or join them for free roam, no jumping in with randoms for it. Can only do the online road trip with random people.

There’s no public freeroam in the 360 version? Why didn’t they say that before? You can’t spend all that time advertising online freeroam without telling everyone that it’s only for one platform.

Nope, lol didn’t even know there was one with friends until someone said how to invite them. Wish I knew sooner, it was the main reason for getting it. Not sure why since it was in first one.
there is alot of stuff advertised that is X1 only, which sucks…

Online free roam was one of the best things in the first game pop in a lobby cruise around do some pulls I build a 93 cobra on h2 just for this I was so sad when I figured out there was no online free roam althought I did I road trip race and smoked some kids in zondas with my 93 cobra lol add me guys gt is mikemollic
Yeah, but in FH1, when me and some buds got together in some public freeroam for some drag runs, there inevitably would be one sorry sack of equine fecal matter that would join with the sole purpose of ruining everyone else’s fun - when Ben mentions the online freeroam in the game, he specifically says that it’s friends-only, so you don’t have to worry about situations like the one I just described…
Yes you are 100 percent right there would always be that guy but you could always just make a freinds only free roam if thats what you wanted and add me if you haven’t I was on h1 the other day that guy happend to be in a neon glowing green Bugatti
