[ONI] Ōkami No Ichigun (Est. 2013) - Style Over Everything. Specialists in Street Legal

ÔKAMI GARAGE - An eclectic list/gallery of in-team builds and paints.

I am potentially interested, my Timezone is Perth WA UTC +8:00. My drifting car changes often, so I hope that won’t matter.

Excellent! We’re always looking to drift with new faces! Car choice doesn’t matter too much

When we’re up and running I’ll hit you up with a FR, we can do some tandems and stuff, get you in some of our Matsuris as well.

[Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D], i though you were in a hole, half dead off the M25, while you were travelling to your next gig.

Give it a couple of years, Slider, I’m almost there XD How you been?

We’re back, baby!

Can’t wait to get this party started…

Hey! Looks like you finally made the cross-Gen leap, JJ.
Seeya’ around.

Hey Cody!

Yep, finally got myself on the One, taking some time to get used to the difference in style but I’m getting the hang of it, how’s things?

Working on this bad boy

Hey if you guys are looking for new members hmu. Most of my cars are VFD legal and i drift some oddball cars. I’ve been drifting since Forza 3. So hmu whenever.

Hey whats up guys im really intrested in join the crew and showing you what i got.

Hey Coro, hey sniper! Nice to meet you!

Just to let you guys know, we’re in the process of setting up a thread called “MatsuriHub”, this is likely where people like yourselves will get to meet us, and show us what you got. MatsuriHub is not a competition, it’ll be more like Open Lobbies for people to just goof around. We honestly don’t mind how good you are at drifting (I’ll be honest, I’m still struggling with FM6, I only started playing it a week ago, I’m a 4 guy through and through XD), and we don’t mind what cars you drive and what spec they are, as long as it’s RWD and it isn’t above S, that’s all good! (Though if you really want to impress us, we absolutely LOVE Street-Legal style cars, sub 450 hp ;D)

Looking forward to seeing you both at some of the events! (P.S. Feel free to drop some pics of your drift cars in here, would love to see them!)

So we set up MatsuriHub. If you’re looking to drift with us, and perhaps join our team, this is the place to start! http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst55634_ONI-Presents--MatsuriHub--Open-Tandem-Lobbies.aspx #KingsOfStyle

About this car:

Ever since FM4, I’ve been a huge fan of the Nissan Silvia S-13. I can remember clocking countless laps around Tsukuba in that car; every little thing about the way it drove was so much fun. As I transitioned from FM4 to Horizon 2, I began to try shaving power away from it, trying to make the absolute most out of the absolute minimum I could get away with. I did get a little crazy with it, considering I was still using the Skyline’s engine (the RB26). I don’t know why, but the power band just felt nicer to me. Toward the end of the Horizon 2 tenure, I had actually dropped to the SR20 from the S-15 model, producing 397hp. It was around then that I came up with the original design.

Fast forward to FM6, and it’s gone through some changes. The RB26 is back in, and I’ve also upped the power considerably, nearer to my FM4 S-13’s original output of 497hp. I’ve also eased off on some of the weight reduction to counteract how much twitchier this game feels to me. Putting weight back in has seemed to stabilise the car once more.

In terms of the car’s aesthetic, I’ve attempted to mimic Japanese drift paints. The main blue colours are the standard ONI team colours, but the geometric designing was largely improv to try and get some extra detail into it. The bumper configuration is inspired by Vectour, who ran a similar body kit to me in FM4, but ran with a stock bumper. In my opinion, it looked really nice, so I’ve gone with it ever since. The grey trim on this car was originally white, but I’ve dulled it down to allow the sponsor decals to break through. The rims were pink, but I’ve changed them to electric yellow to contrast against the design a bit more. Finally, the hood design is completely out of left field. I have a cap with a similar pattern on it and I thought it would look cool if I had it on the hood, contrasting similarly to how Naoki Nakamura paints the hood on his S-13.

All in all, I’m not sure what’s in store for this car, other than regular appearances in MatsuriHub. I’m a very fickle painter, so I will surely edit some of the details in the future. Regardless, it’s one of my favourite FM6 cars, in look and to drive. Judging by the pictures, it also appears to handle drifting quite well.

Looks nice man

What’s up ONI. I was just strolling through and read up on the bio. Would you guys be interested in joining Out And Out Competitive Gaming(Forza Motorsport Division/Alliance)? We could use some more aged teams involved. Just peep the thread and see if it’s something you’d be interested in. We are working on tournaments/rules, but we already have some pretty successful/fun KOTH sessions hosted bi-weekly.
