Thanks man, we’ll check it out. Can’t promise anything right now as we’re working on a few of our things and coming up with new ideas for the community. Trying to bring everybody together and stuff, like it used to be. I’ll check out your thread and see what the team thinks
For sure buddy. O2CG hopes to bring back the community as well. Back on FM(1), the community was so competitive and alive. Unfortunately, unless it’s participating in one of the few comps remaining, the competitive factor is not there. We aim to bring that feeling back with KOTHs, Tournaments, Team vs Team battles, Fallouts, etc. Just let me know if it’s something you’re interested in and we can have a chat via XBL about what O2CG is and what we hope to accomplish.

About this car:
With the unfortunate loss of the storied “RC926 Top-Secret Tuned” Nissan S15 Silvia from FM4, it quickly became clear that a new flagship car was needed to climb unto the podium of an extensive garage. On the opposite side of the coin, however; the Fast and Furious Nissan 350Z was more than just a worthy replacement - it had been a car that I desperately wanted in the Forza Motorsport games for as long as I can remember. Like the predecessor that held the mantle before it, this car has easily gone through dozens of evolutions in tuning style, build composition, and paint, only recently having been wrapped in a livery that was designed from the ground up for the car by yours truly.
In terms of internal work, the turbocharger was quickly removed from the car for the sake of placing an emphasis on an even power band; as well as an attempt to focus on sound quality to go hand-in-hand with performance - hence the camshaft, engine block, and exhaust selection. It is also subject to the mathematical formula present in every drift car in the garage; and is also the parent of any changes brought to the other vehicles in various aspects of tuning.
Onward to the looks of the car. The inspiration for the vehicle’s livery has come from various auto show 350Z’s that had their bodies lent to the garb of the Veilside Ver. 3 Aero kit, to ensure that the lines of the body were accentuated in a manner that would be appreciated in such an environment. After various evolutions in color, the car settled on the current black, carbon fiber, and white color scheme - mainly designed to compliment the carbon fiber hood that is unable to be painted. In terms of manufacturer decals, many of them have been selected from JJ Rau in the Drift Paddock - hence the comical #legenddurft sticker that is camping on the rear bumper. Overall, this livery was produced with the intent of keeping true to the form of the car - while also being my first venture into a from-scratch paint.
I am very content with the current development of this car, despite the fact that these pictures may well be obsolete in time with how frequently I change things regarding the way I build my vehicles. Regardless, it will be at the forefront of any event I attend, and a prized possession in my garage for as long as I can keep my grubby little fingers on it.
Props to JJ Rau for letting me swipe his post format - despite me not even asking him to begin with! You’re the best!
So the pack now has a fifth member. It is our sincere pleasure to welcome Cody Ghastface to Ôkami No Ichigun! Cody’s been a long-time friend and drift buddy to us, and has always had a positive attitude to drifting as an art form. Plus, the guy can go. So here’s to the new guy, the “Sassy Texan”, Cody Ghastface! Welcome to ONI!
With this team, as ive seen the main theme is jdm. Are you guys only a jdm team or it just so happens everyone drifts jdm. I’d really like to come drift with you guys and just hang out, but my style of drifting is i have to be that one guy in the car your not expecting. For example: my newest addition to my tandeming cars is a Bentley CGT
Specs:
Engine: W12
Weight: about 3600 lbs
Twin Turbo
HP: 625
So hmu if you guys wanna tandem or have an event going.
Munky pretty much nailed it on the head. Nippon Style is where it’s at for us. But yeah come and burn some tyres, hang out with us. We’ll make you see the light
Nippon Style? No, you guys need the Odaiba Tsuiso lol jk. Anyway, need to drift asap want to see how far you all have gotten, well…more like my itchy controller hand is coming back to youth.
We are a group of people that (mainly) show specific interest in the Japanese scene. We prefer Japanese drifting over American/European drifting. D1 and Drift Muscle is where we get our competition fill from, JDM meets and street drifting is where we get our boners, our paints and drifting style are based around that of the Japanese style. We like the paints to look eccentric and crazy, colourful and have so many sponsors that you have 3 clutch sponsors paying you top Yen to have their name on your car because your drifting is dope. We like to drift slowly, with style. We’re not into this speed > angle nonsense. I’d much rather see two or more cars in close proximity all pulling hella angle and looking awesome than watching some guy in a Brostang pull away from a guy in a Camaro and it look boring as hell. This is one of the reasons for the comp we did in Forza 4, we wanted to adapt and encourage the Japanese style, we had D1 formats, judging styles and criteria, and car regulations.
I find Japanese car culture a lot more fun to watch, be a part of, and copy than any other. But that doesn’t mean we don’t drift anything else. Most of us probably have something European or American in our garage too, and probably some V8s, although 4-bangers and straight-6s is where it’s at.
You’re more than welcome to drift with us. Just send us a message or whatever when you’re online and we can make magic together. But don’t bring that nasty W12, that’s not JDM
