Moss,

Great job with the build/tune on the Mini. Just took it for a brief ride of 3 laps and I really enjoyed it. Actually beat my PB (though very far in standings), though I am a new driver on FM. Need to work on my driving skills (new to gaming, controller, tracks, shifting in game, blah, blah, blah…just keep practicing I guess). I am 6+ secs off your mark of 1:07.732 with a 1:14.039!

Thanks RelaxedPRKid, I took a look at your replay and you could get much faster if you work on your lines to use all the track, get into 4th gear earlier and keep it floored through the chicanes before the bridge. You don’t need to drop below 3rd gear at all. Take the long right hander in 4th gear rather than 3rd. Stick at it, practice, practice, practice and try to keep it floored as much as possible

Moss, thank you very much for the feedback. This is the first time I have gotten such detail feedback on what to improve. I have noticed a drop in speed and trying to downshift when I probably do not need to. I get thinking if I do not downshift I will hit the walls. I also need to figure out how to use my brakes through the track.

Any suggestions on brake use would be appreciated (ex. are you braking while maintaining throttle, can the car still turn while braking [I have noticed that in many builds the car will go straight of veer in opposite direction when braking])! Again, thanks!

I am by no means a top driver but this is how I do it. LOL. Try to use the brakes as little as possible. I don’t maintain throttle whilst braking. Turn 1 requires light braking whilst turning but downshifting from 5th to 3rd does most of the work. Use all the track on the left (almost to the barrier) to exit as fast as possible. I think I am in 4th before the chicanes and 5th before the bridge. Shift back to 4th with a light dab on the brakes for the first part of the righthander and stay in 4th till the righthander after the tunnel. Another dab on the brakes and down to third for the final chicane. See how much time you can save and thanks again for running the car.

This is awesome! Thank you so much. Will try this out later today.

I have friday off so I will give it a shot. Hope I can do it justice.

Thanks A5yrtech, just give it your best shot. It is fairly easy to drive clean and great fun. You never need to drop below 3rd, unless you screw up and drop to 2nd like I did on the final right hander on Prague full reverse, so I know it will go quicker LOL.

Ive got a D400 mini in my garage thats good for Prague Full Rev too (currently 38th) so will pick up yours and see how well it does.

And also Prague Rev is my fav track

Thanks Coops, but I’m not sure that I have it shared so you may have to build it. You can set your own brake pressure then as well.

Building this up, now.

Just ran a 1:07.268 on Prague Short Reverse but there is still plenty of time.

Would you mind if I did a bit of tweaking?

Thanks for running it and that beats me by half a second. No problems with you tweaking, let us know if you improve it and what changes you made

I decided to leave “as is” and ran a .1 (setting a new PB) clean but ran a 1:06.9 dirty.

I hate D class but enjoyed driving this car. Thanks for sharing, bud.

Managed to get it to 109 on short still working on full. The mini is always a blast to drive. Thanks for sharing your tune.

Decided to give this a go and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a nice lil ride! Set a Pb at Prauge short reverse with a 1:09.548!!

Got a 2:17.1 on Prague Full-R! Good for 401 place! I was very tired when I ran this, falling asleep at the wheel…lol! Anytime I can get into the top 500 I am stoked! Great job!

Thanks to everyone for running the car and great time Braveheart!
Stick at it RelaxedPRKid, I would be interested to hear if you managed any improvement
A5yrtech, Kru Jones and Goonies4Life013,thanks for the positive feedback.
And finally Coops, how close did you get to your current time. #38 on Prague full reverse will be difficult to beat LOL.

OGR Moss…if you could…take a look at my replay and let me know where i can improve? I usually only tune my own but this has me very interested!!! Thanks in advance!

I will take a look later and try to help you out. I am just watching Chelsea playing PSG in the Champions League quarter final
Just took a quick look at half time  Your main problem appears to be the long sweeping right hander before the tunnel and the final chicane after the tunnel. Stay in 4th gear for the sweeper but try to stay wider for the last element to miss the kerbing on the right. You are losing a lot of time in the final chicane by not getting further right after the first right hander to set you up for the final left hander. The chicane can all be taken in 3rd gear and definitely try to miss the high kerb on the final left hander! Good luck and I will be interested to see your time fall LOL.
