I’ve been rolling with the '65 Mini for a while and when the new track came out I bought the car pack. I’m working on the 1956 Lotus Eleven. I’m trying to keep it in D class. This might not be the best car for this class but it’s a pretty cool car and this IS a game after all, so I’m just looking to have a little fun here and there.
I’m not good with tuning yet so I looked through the tuning guide at the top of this section and put this together. I’m wondering if any of you would like to check it out and give me some feedback. I was test driving on Road America West. I was able to get a time of about 1:35. I’m looking to boost that as much as possible. (My PB with the Mini was in the 1:28 range). Things that I’m noticing with this tune are that it’s slow to accelerate at times and it’s very loose around corners. It really wants to kick out. I don’t have time to troubleshoot it much more at the moment so I figured I’d let you all check it out. You can download my tune by searching for Flavaham. The name of the tune is “1st Attempt” or something like that. Or, you can use the open source below to tweak it and see what happens. I plan to tweak it quite a bit more and would like to know what you would do if it were your tune.

So, there it is. I’m thinking that I need to up the rear Rebound Stiffness to help with cornering a bit. I noticed that a few times when it kicked out it was because I was on the curb in the turn, so maybe the wheels aren’t getting back on the ground fast enough(?). Some of these were somewhat blind calculations (Let’s see what this does!!!) so feel free to tear this tune to shreds!! It’s the only way I’m gonna learn! Also, if you have a solid tune for this car that you’d like to share it might help me to see what the car is supposed to feel like. Just a thought.
Thanks for the help guys!
