I’m honestly wondering why we got not one, but TWO offroad vehicles in one car pack? Why? We have ZERO offroad vehicles, they’re useless. If we’re going to have offroad vehicles in our car packs, we should be getting offroad tracks as well.
Sorry, I know this is yet another complaint forum, but, this is annoying, we have no offroad tracks, but yet ewe continue to get offroad vehicles in our car packs, it makes no sense…
It’s going to continue and there’s nothing you can do about it except to vote with your wallet and refuse to pay for cars you think shouldn’t be in a game.
If you got the Car Pass already and this kind of thing upsets you*, then think of it as a lesson in paying for content before knowing what you’re getting.
I’m not taking a shot at you in particular, merely referring to “you” as whoever may be reading this.
I’d be fine with this if they added tracks to go with these trucks, I’d love to get an offroad track expansion, maybe this will happen since these cars that they added have offroad tires stock?
I wouldn’t mind seeing some off road tracks in a FM title if they were done right. I think they would be an interesting addition, otherwise it seems like a waste having off road vehicles with only tarmac tracks.
I’d love to see offroad tracks, give us some stadium super truck options, give us some rally time attack tracks, hell, give us some 4x4 jeeping, I haven’t seen a single person who doesn’t want offroad tracks in the game.
How about the day one DLC pack - 10 cars that we cannot use at all because they are homologated into their own division.
But yeah, the poster above mentioned paying for stuff without knowing what it is and he is absolutely right. Last time I preorder a Forza game or buy an ultimate edition. Next time I will wait 3 months after the game’s release to decide whether to buy it and any of its DLC. It actually will work out cheaper if you only buy the car packs you want.
Where they can only be raced against other F&F edition cars.
So, completely and utterly useless. It is no wonder that all of them have really low collector score values, because none of them are worth anything at all to anyone.
If you pre-ordered you also got the Hoonigan pack, and guess what? Pretty much all of those exceed homologation limits for their respective classes, so equally as useless. They look nice though. F&F pack would have been OK in FH3, but with the homologation limits, they really have no place in FM7, imho of course.
I don’t even think they need to add off road tracks to the game. If they had the jumps at tracks such as long beach, that would be a valid reason to use them.
Adding half baked modes into a game like this makes no sense when there are entire games that are dedicated to these racing genres that do a far better job at it. NASCAR/Rally/F1/Off roading all have their own games. They add nonsense like these vehicles to keep the kids in MP modes happy smashing each other and creating as much chaos as possible. Trying to make the game appealing to as large an audience as possible to make as many sales as possible.
At this rate the Forza and Horizon series will eventually merge into one game.
Okay, then why add offroad vehicles to a game with no offroad tracks? That’s like adding hyper cars to DiRT 4, even though they can’t drive in dirt because of ride height issues and such.
Go to the corkscrew at Laguna Seca and climb up and jump down the dirt hill next to the corkscrew turn itself. Boom, off-roading. They even resorted to it in the trailer for the pack.
