Forza edition Race Cars? Or road cars?
We don’t know. They are the Motorsport-equals of the Horizon Editions which also have not been announced before the release. At least not all of them…
It pains me to say it, and I have stayed quiet right until the end to see if Turn 10 could spring any surprises, but for the first time since FM3 I won’t be pre-ordering, my money will also be heading to Project Cars 2.
I was really hoping for some brand new race cars, whereas all we get are recycled cars, and seemingly have lost more than gained.
A serious let down compared to P cars list of all new GT3s for example.

I still don’t understand the whole Toyota / Microsoft deal that was done…just confused.
so its basically a small content update to forza 6, with some tweaks here and there that we have to pay $100 for. this isn’t going to go down well.
If you want all the content, then it is probably going to be 150+ money.
I haven’t preordered the game yet and now I really have some mixed emotions about all this. LOL, I bought even new gfx card and a new wheel set mainly because of Forza 7. Oh well, I probably will still buy the game (first full Motorsport game on PC), but I’m also buying Project CARS 2, which, currently, seems more appealing (and there is still Assetto Corsa that gets constantly updates and new content).
I can’t believe that there will be 20 more Forza editions. Not only that but it has always been 700+ cars not 700 on the dot. I feel like they have at least a few more tricks up their sleaves. Everyone is always quick to shoot down Turn 10. Yea they recycle cars but honestly how many hours does it take to produce one new car in this game. Each Forza can’t be all new cars.
Yes I under stand that not having production Toyota is a mood killer but in the past they have always come thru. And they do listen to fans … they got hoonigan cars! And the Japanese track is back along with maple. So I think they at least deserve some credit.
I will always and forever play Forza.
Two tracks that really shouldn’t have been removed in the first place, I can understand one being for licensing reasons. But Maple Valley? There’s not much in the way preventing them from adding it to previous games, since it’s a fantasy track. What about when the only “new” track in FM8 is, say, Rally di Positano, will you be singing praises then?
Sure they do. Then they lock them away to all but those who pre-order a specific version of the game. With no sign of it ever being available for purchase by the rest.

Forza themselves normally tweet the list about 4pm…I expect the list to be indentical to this plus these “Forza Edition” cars.
And I’m sure I still haven’t seen an official statement from Forza about Toyota not being in the game? Or have I missed that. I’ve seen videos and a little bits of writing about it, but nothing from them.
One thing I’ve found strange however, is the inclusion of the 2011 Audi R15 ++ and not the 2010 version. The 2011 version is the same as the 2010 but with smaller air restrictors and only did one races as the 2011 R18 wasn’t ready. The 2011 version has nothing to race against as the 2011 908 has its 2007-2010 power, so it cant race its real rival. I’d understand if it won its only race, but it didn’t.
It was in an early release note for Forza that Toyota pulled the license for the productions cars from Forza but allowed them to keep the race cars versions.
Doesn’t make sense to me but what ever… it’s Microsoft in the end we will have Toyota.
So we are going to get a Rallye expansion and track and a Japan addon featuring Toyotas and Fujimi Kaido. 
Huge disappointment. That’s alls I gotta say. News just gets worse and worse with this game. Why Do we need a Baja buggy on a MOTORSPORT GAME!!! You gunna implement off road racing into the franchise? If not I don’t see the point in wasting everyone’s time with this stuff. Just lazy turn 10. I’m stoked for the game and can’t wait to play it but it’s just copied cars year after year and getting abit outdated. Bit fed up really. I know at least 300+ people that are disappointed in this game and that’s just me alone. Love you turn 10 but come on. Updating the graphics and making wipers move ain’t good enough.
