Not recieving influence for watching Mixer streams

I am the required level in Forza Horizon 4. Infact I have level 2 mixer unlocked somehow.

Whenever I watch a Forza Horizon 4 stream, I never recieve influence in the game. I can watch it overnight and would still recieve nothing in the game. No prompt or popup even displays in the mixer website that would tell me that I have earned influence at all. I am watching legitimate streams, not the influence farm streams.

Any help would be appreciated…

I don’t know if this is correct, but my understanding that you only earn Mixer influence for actually streaming the game with at least one viewer, not just watched others’ streams of the game. That would make it too easy IMO, as many people would just leave the streams on overnight (like yourself) and rack in influence they don’t entirely deserve.

I don’t know if this is correct, but my understanding that you only earn Mixer influence for actually streaming the game with at least one viewer, not just watched others’ streams of the game. That would make it too easy IMO, as many people would just leave the streams on overnight (like yourself) and rack in influence they don’t entirely deserve.

It still says on the Mixer blog that you can earn influence while watching streamers. And when I first started 2 days ago, it also told me I could earn influence watching streamers.

They changed it a couple of updates ago to only streaming the game will give you influence, not just watching.
