Not enough focus on Multiplayer.

There’s 700 cars in the game only 81 usable in online playlists… Who thought that was a good idea? No drift lobbies, no drag races in online at all and these are just two small complaints honestly. They have switched from a Fun flawed system to another less fun equally flawed system… There are still cars that are going to dominate the leaderboards in certain divisions its just how it works. Instead of having the E - X playlists they have a ton of car divisions and i guarantee they wont make a playlist for every division. If their plan is to just rotate out playlists every couple weeks i guarantee the people who want to play it online will stop playing. Single player is cool whatever but i want to actually test builds against people online in more then just 81 cars wheres the variety? I honestly don’t remember the other Forza games lacking so much online content (Sidenote: i didn’t really play the last one to much). I feel like no one is talking about how much has been stripped out of the multiplayer and i had high hopes that they were going to update the game today because of the full release and maybe add more but they haven’t what a let down.

I’m gutted at the multiplayer options. They are pathetic. Your message was very well put. I just want to shout and swear at turn 10. So Dissappointed.

i completely agree i already got my refund. if you want a refund tell them your a multiplayer drifter. from what i was told seems like there is no plans for a drift lobby.

Its so dumb because even when Forza 5 was free there was a ton of people in those lobbies. Drifting has been popular in Forza since Forza 2 i remember people making custom lobbies( What happened to those?) There was a pretty big community of people wanting to drift even though there wasn’t a score system. Why take away something so popular it doesn’t make sense, This is how you kill your own franchise. I enjoy racing and drifting its fun to be able to actually do more then just one thing. I feel like who ever was in charge of putting the multiplayer together just decided to suck out all of the fun.

Forza 1-4 we’re my favorites, I did buy 5 and 6 but wasn’t fond of them 6 was ok but barely played them, so didn’t have much expectation of this one

Forza 7 is excellent in my opinion, forza 4 polished with fm6 is the only way i can think of it
Unlocking cars etc like FM2 is wonderful,
So back to having the people that actually play the game reaping the rewards again!

I check in here now and then to see what the news is on the new game. I had a hard time letting go of what was once my favorite game franchise, but it became clearer and clearer as time went on that Turn10 would never make another game I will want to play. I’m so glad I gave away my xboxOne and gave up on Forza. I’m no longer disappointed, because now I just expect stupidity and have no plans to buy into it again. They could have just polished up FM4 , called it FM7 and far more people would be happy with that, especially the long time loyal players, but instead they decide to mess up a once great franchise even worse. I kind of have to laugh. I guess Turn 10 just don’t understand how many serious Forza fans they have ticked off with their idiocy. I have a lot of fond memories from FM1-FM4. You messed up huge, Turn10. Maybe you’ll eventually realize it, but since no one listens to the community, I highly doubt it.

Totally agree. FM7 was built around loot boxes and the upcoming micro transactions…But I won’t give them a dime because I’m not stupid.
I’m pretty sure this is my last Forza Motorsport.

I agree! What happened to this franchise?? Turn 10 should admit they’ve turned Forza into a stripped out, money grabbing abomination, and re-master Forza 4. They could start rebuilding from there. Of course, this is a pipe dream. At this point, it’s probably the only way to salvage the brand though. This whole situation is pathetic. I miss the good old days of good online racing with buddies/AI so much.

u gave up on forza so u got rid of your X-box 1…lol

Yep. It was the only exclusive I cared about at all and EVERY other cross platform game plays better on even the regular PS4. I have a PS4pro. My xbox one was turned off for over a year, so when I saw a facebook post from a friend who was bummed out about GTAV not having DLC updates for the 360, I decided to give him my xbox one.

If this game had gone back to user created custom public lobbies and did an updated version of car soccer as well as leaderboards for all car classes and had proper drag racing, I would be ordering an xb1x tomorrow. It has none of these things.

This right here is single handedly killing this game for me.

And yeahh… I know, they’ll most probably add the hoppers in later, but why should we even have to wait?!

The game just came out. The same exact thing happened in 6. Nothing new here.

I’ve been playing since Friday so I’m kind of getting bored of single player and only playlists I’m interested in are classic muscle and road racing and both of those are kind of getting stale. Don’t get me wrong i don’t hate the game or i would of tried to get a refund. There’s just a lot of design decisions i don’t agree with and a lot of that has to do with the complete lack of focus on multiplayer.

Does anybody have any idea when they’ll have lobbies for each class?

This right here…need more lobbies in multiplayer. I’m looking specifically for a Sport GT Lobby. That appears to be where cars like the Vette, Viper, GTR, etc reside.

I got seat time with standard edition tonight. I’m cool with what it brings to the the table for the money. Just need more multiplayer lobbies.

I did run a few online races with the X-bow tonight.

  • The game performance was pretty good.
  • The caution warning is a nice addition…gives a heads up for lap cars.
  • Need a volume slider for the chat voices…they are loud compared to the game audio.
  • Need shortcuts for mute…it’s a pain to have to go all the way into the gamer card.
  • PI has been scaled back compared to FM6…not complaining, just making an observation. My “S”(800) class tunes in FM6 were showing around 816 in FM7.

It does suck to have to wait for them to add more lobbies, but I’m pretty sure FM6 release had a delayed mutliplayer system at launch. I’d give it at least 24 hours (I hope)

What!?! There is Multiplayer in Forza Motorsport 7?!? Never worked for me :triumph::triumph::triumph:

The multiplayer section is dead. No life to it at all. No options.

Where are the class multiplayer hoppers so we can drive against different classes?

This seems so limited. I am actually so gutted I turned the game off after about 20mins last night and have no desire to go back on it if they do not add this.

Launching the game on release day with just 5 types of multiplayer hoppers is a joke. Even if Turn10 wants to push the homologation class types, people are not going to like it if they can only drive 10 cars in multiplayer.
