I have the original version of the game. I opened the “Store” app, went to the “Downloads and Updates” screen and clicked the “Check for Updates” button. Nothing showed up. I launched the game to be sure and it’s the old version, no wheel support.
Apex store page never updated for me, I uninstalled apex beta and reset the store cache to have the apex update to new version but then “Free” box became greyed out. I ended up having to manually install the windows anniversary update from the link on the apex store page, seems fine now.
It won’t update for me either. If I go to “Library” in the store it shows an ! next to it, but like you when I go to check for updates nothing happens. I tried both wsreset and regedit methods of resetting the store and neither worked. My CSR wheel isn’t included yet so I guess I’ll just wait; I don’t want to delete and reinstall because that download is super slow.
I think you have to have the newest version of windows 10.

I had to manually update my windows to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and Apex finally updated.
