I can only hear the intro, then the game becomes mute. Other games work perfectly fine.
I think this happened after Forza Motorsport 7 last update or the new Nvidia Drivers. What should I do to fix this?
I don’t think it’s anything with Nvidia drivers. Since other games don’t give you same problem is could be the game. It will probably be quicker to reinstall/update sound drivers first. If that doesn’t work game reinstall a bash. I know this doesn’t help much. My main advice, leave Nvidia drivers alone or at least to the last resort. Also, with all the updates, it’s a big download. You have dedicated sound card or built-in audio? My old Xonar did sometimes do that in other games.
No issues with my Nvidia PC. Have you started your troubleshooting by looking at the basics first? Checked your in-game audio settings?
same problem. It worked fine at first but now the sound stops after the intro video’s. Like the intro’s have sound but from the launch menu there is no sound at all
Funny thing is; it works through my hdmi.
unchecking Disable all enhancements + reboot worked for me
This also affects somr Horizon 4 players.
There’s definitely something at play here between the combination of Nvidia HD Audio, Realtek onboard sound cards and the latest Forza (M7/H4) updates.
