No offline mode?

With the emphasis on everything being online including all cars populating the roads, what of people that wish to play offline or simply have a bad connection at any point. How will offline work at all if the cars are dependent there only being online cars on roads. I’m all for games incorporating online into them and even the basis being around that but does this game allow for a actual single play campaign that can be played entirely offline if needed or is the aspect of online only yet again being pushed. The aspect of having internet is certainly not a problem and gamepass is something I am already signed up with, so this isn’t an issue there. The problem is potentially down the line of course if servers don’t exist to support this game or any content created. Fine for the here and now but asolutely stuffed if you can’t for whartever reason access your stuff

As well as this, are Turn 10 going the same route with their new creative making game mode whereby they lock offline users out of playing it altogether. In Forza4 horizon this was the case for the new creative mode they introduced and there was no reason why you couldn’t play offline other than they weren’t allowing it

FH4 had a lot of server options, so I agree. The option to start the game in offline mode is a must!

  1. This game will always have offline mode.

  2. They have announced a whole new server network, so we believe the issues will be resolved this time round.

  3. Turn 10 does not make Forza Horizon games, Playground Games do.

excellent thanks for the responses guys

yes, there is an offline mode that anyone can access

start the game after turning off internet

you’ll get to the “fallback playlist” which is a default set that’s always there, it has its own reward set, though, so htf cars can’t be acquired this way

there’s traffic on the roads and most stuff is available to do but unless it’s your home xbox you aren’t going to be able to use any dlc (dunno how pc works in that respect)
