Used to when I created a private multiplayer with drivatars, they were mostly all custom paints. I hadn’t played it in a couple of months until the other day, and now they’re all factory paints. I checked the options to ensure the custom paints was on, so I was wondering what happened.
Also, does anyone know if we will ever be able to race against max pi vehicles in free-play and/or multiplayer, like it is in career?

I think that the crappy suggested livery thing just leads to these factory paints that people save as designs.
I don’t get how these paints end up being popular/suggested.

Lol, I uploaded one of those satins on my other account, day one, because I was after a badge or something, and just forgot about it. At some point it went viral enough to raise me to professional status, and got me some fredits. o_O
Paints I put effort into…yeah, barely got noticed.
Yup, I don’t get it either.
I too think the poor selection of “recommended” designs are what causes the cars to be just plain colors. I’ve noticed as time goes on even in career mode I see less and less liveries, and more stock colors with maybe hideous neon accents or an off center stripe. I’ve noticed too that with pre-liveried cars (Like the GT cars) people just change the wheel color and “share” the livery it already has.
The custom paints will also be disabled if you Change your privacy Settings in your xbox live account (Melden Sie sich bei Ihrem Microsoft-Konto an.)!

If you change this setting to “blocked” or “friends only”, you will not see any other paints in the game!
