So before the latest update my only issue with long money-grinding races had been the risk of my game crashing. Well crashing has gotten significantly better so I figured I’d give them a go.
I did a 150 lap race around one of the shorter Top Gear variants in an F1 car. Completed it fine, won, no rewards.
I then did a 100 lap race around the same track. Completed it fine, won, no rewards.
After this I was pretty angry as you could imagine. That’s a lot of wasted time.
So I did a 10 lap race. I got rewards for it no problem.
I then did a 20 lap race - I was going to go up in increments of 10 to test if it was length based - and I didn’t get any rewards.
I did the 10 lap race again, assuming I was resigned to doing only 10 lap races from now one. No rewards again.
I have no idea what rule is making me no get any rewards. No I am not using a rented car, it has my own Brawn 2009 livery on it. So if there is a specific rule which prevents rewards being given in Free Play, please can I know what it is so that I don’t accidentally break it and waste hours and hours of my life?
Equally if it’s a bug, please fix it.
I don’t like the career so I don’t want to have to do that, and my next car reward costs 1.1million and I want it, and it’ll take me weeks to get that online, so I wanted to get some quick money in with mods.
I have a friend who ran the same race settings and he got his rewards every time, so I’m not sure if it’s just me.
