No Groove Music option in the game

Even though I’ve played Forza 7 on the very first day on 29th September, I looked in the options menu and Groove Music is NOWHERE to be seen! I really want to play my own music in the game, so add Groove Music to Forza 7 immediately, please.

Or, I don’t know if you have to reach a certain point in the game to unlock Groove, but no Groove in Forza 7 is just ridiculously bad…

I didn’t see it either but thought maybe Groove was part of the default music, I received an error when I went to turn the music volume off since I was going to use Spotify. It stated no Playlists available. If Groove was fully integrated I might even decide to subscribe as using Spotify in the background seems to skip a lot as FM7 is pushing the Xbox’s limits (however have also seen this with other games multitasking with Spotify/Pandora too).

I’ve done it multiple times only to have to crash and stop playing during game play…but I would launch groove and go play one of my playlists then switch back to Forza, after I would hit the Xbox button and go to the side bar menu and the groove player would be under the recent launched apps and play it from there. It would inevitably crash and stop playing though, sometimes before one song could even finish! It’s disheartening for sure among many other things. You tired this OP?

Think about it. Groove was in forza horizon 3 because it was basically a given. Its a radio station run by you. The soundtrack in this game is made for the tense effect. Not for you to jam while you drive. If you want that wait until forza horizon 4 comes along, then start jamming again.

Edit: Here is an example from forza motorsport 6

What? I don’t understand the reply?

Groove music will come at later date.

Oh, wait a minute! Didn’t we forget that not ALL features in Forza 7 will be available at launch for ultimate edition owners?! I think that’s why Groove is not available yet… or maybe it’s just me.

No need for snarky remarks FHS I thought it was an honest question…but turns out the two of you and my self were wrong(at least for thinking it would come on general pop release day, and maybe it will work for a time) because starting Jan. 1st 2018 microsoft will no longer offer groove music subscriptions rendering my use of it well…useless. I own a few albums that I really enjoy but it just seems like this announcement pushes me further towards Apple Music or Google play

Groove music has been killed by MS only thing that will be used is the cloud side of it this is why spotify was added to the app store …but I would like to see this added to 7 for the cloud side of grove

Spotify is on Xbox, 100x better than groove. Plus I’ve found that it works extremely well with the Xbox interface, it’s easy to change the volume of the music or change songs with the quick menu. It also is instantly synced with your phone, so you can control what plays on your Xbox from your phone.

Groove music is over and out. Microsoft is directing theyre users to Spotify instead.

“We will continue to invest in and update the Groove Music app on all Windows devices to support playback and management of owned music, but after December 31, 2017, the Groove Music app will no longer offer the option to stream, purchase, and download music.”

As a Groove music user you might have the right to claim a 60-day free trial of spotify premium.

*An update to the Groove Music app including the ability to move music to Spotify, will be available for Windows Insiders beginning this week. The Groove Music app update for Windows 10 and Xbox One devices will roll out broadly the week of October 9, 2017 and will enable Groove Music Pass customers to move existing music collections and playlists to Spotify. Groove Music Pass content will be available to move to Spotify until at least January 31, 2018.
**To find out whether you may be eligible for a 60-day free trial of Spotify Premium, check out our FAQ.

I mentioned it before my problem with any 3rd party music player is the lag. Both Pandora and Spotify seem to stutter a lot when playing a graphic/processor heavy game like FM7. Whenever you finish a race and or any loading screen I just stutters like an old scratched CD. Maybe they will get better now that Groove is dead.
