No ghost in rivals

Ive tried, ON, RIVALS ONLY, reset the game, reset to default. Nothing seems to trigger a rival ghost I can chase/race against. What am I missing???

It’s glitched after the last update. Watch the replay of the person you want to race against first, then it will work.

Hi Guys,
what about the ghost mode in the rival events ? In my FM 7 on PC I can´t unlock to see the car of my opponent…

For some reason you have to now select a replay to watch. After the replay loads you can exit and then set that person as your rival and their ghost should show up.

Appologies if its an ongoing issue,not been on rivals for ages,im not able to set a rivals time as a ghost and race against it.Is this a new problem since a previous update?

This has been a problem since a recent update.

Choose a rival and watch their replay first. After that their ghost will appear when you start the race.

You don’t have to watch the whole replay though, you can back out once it started and the ghost rival will work when you select that person as rival

ok,nice one.I couldnt remember reading about the issue so i expect they will patch it at some stage.

  1. Your ghost from the other day has now disappeared. So you have to hotlap with no ghost… UNLESS you manage to beat your pb time WITHOUT THE GHOST then suddenly a new ghost appears until you quit out and you lose the ghost again!!

So when you want to retry hotlapping the same track… the game only gives you a ghost AFTER you first beat your existing pb time which is what you NEEDED THE GHOST FOR in the first place!!

Are T10 really this moronic? I know FM6 wasn’t great because the ghost didn’t update per lap once beat… BUT at least it was there to begin with and didn’t need to be beaten beforehand which defeats the purpose itself!

The game is broken. When will there be a fix?

  1. How do you race against other players class/division leaderboard ghosts? This has been a feature in EVERY Forza so no-one would be that dumb to remove such an integral feature. Where am I going wrong?!I

What on earth is happening here?

I agre its very sad that ghost and rivals are working so poorly in this version of Forza.

Although there is a work around to get the ghost to apear again.

In the leaderboard watch your own lap replay ( or another player if you want his ghost ). Then after you watched it a litle, set that player as your rival.

Its a bit anoying and frustratingly, but at least it works :slight_smile:
