when is the game getting fanatec support? ridiculous. I don’t even want to buy it. It’s going to be hard enough as it is playing a racing game that isn’t in vr but not having fanatec support from the the start is bs on pc…
yet I can play it on xbox though and my cswv2, pedals, and css sq 1.5 shifter alllllll work… w. t. f.

I dont know if you have the right wheel or not but i know if you switch the fanatec wheel into ps3 mode and use the logitec drivers instead of the fanatec one it will think its a g25 and work. Not positive though so google it.
it doesn’t work like that with cswv2. you’re thinking of the old way with fanatec on ps3 with gran turismo using logitech id on ps3 to work.

You’re incorrect it does work like that. I’m literally playing the game like that now on a CSWV2 I don’t wanna go through all the effort of uploading proof but I assure you it can be done, the Logitech profile driver is just a bit fiddly.
how??? because windows won’t even detect the cswv2 unless it’s in pc mode.
it’s gotta feel like complete poop too doing it that way.
If you have the xbo hub it works best to put it in xbox mode FFB was A LOT better in g27 mode it was there but it felt super arcadey and not firm at all. xbox one mode is a ton better as a temp solution.
Anyways yes it does detect it, I use it in GT Legends too cause it doesn’t like Fanatex shifters for some reason. Put it in PC mode and start the installation of this driver. Getting Started - G27 Racing Wheel – Logitech Support + Download
During installation, it will prompt you to connect Logitech devices, at which point put your wheel in PS3 mode, then hit next on the driver installation. If it all works out the Logitech profiler will have a picture of a G27 on it and things should work.
A WORD OF WARNING For some reason when you navigate in the menus using the wheel the FFB will snap HARD. For the love of god use your mouse in the menus cause im sure you know how strong this wheel is when it snaps at full strength, you will need it anyways cause I cant find the confirm button on the wheel so you will need to use the mouse to confirm selections on things anyways.
