I just read that PS4 will not be making a sequel to Drive Club, as it seems that Sony who aren’t a software company per se, finds the sequel too expensive given the fiasco that Drive Club is (notwithstanding the amazing graphics of the game, of course)
Now if I were MS I would defintely remove the exclusivity from Forza on Xbox and make a version for Play Station !!! What do you think?
I doubt it. Although Forza has been kind of stuck in a rut lately, it’s still a strong enough brand to encourage people to buy XBoxes, thus hopefully driving sales of other games as well. That would not be the case if it were not platform-exclusive. Also, in the absence of Driveclub, the Playstation still has an even stronger exclusive racing franchise, Gran Turismo, though who knows when they will get around to releasing a PS4 title.
Turn 10 is owned by microsoft if I’m not mistaken.
