Hi all! I’m new to these forums, and am thoroughly enjoying my time with Forza 7 so far… However I’m a little concerned with how long the series will last in light of xbox ones sales struggles compared to ps4s. Will there be a next generation Xbox? And if Microsoft ever pull the plug on console gaming is it possible that the Forza series somehow continues? I love Xbox and always want it around but worry about the things I mentioned above…
Yes. Microsoft confirmed they are working on a future console but other than that we don’t know anything. It’s probably still a few years away however.
Right now Microsoft appears to be increasing their investment in gaming. A few weeks ago they announced the acquisition of 5 additional games studios, including Playground Games (who work on the Forza Horizon series). Here’s a roundup of Xbox’s big announcements from last month, for reference.
I’d say Forza’s future is pretty safe.

Really with over 50,000,000 subscribers to Xbox Gold I think they are sitting nice and high in the gaming market

The way I refer to the /xboxone Reddit folks is with a word I’d rather not post here.
Besides, I know the forum is buggy and everyone is Tier 4 here sometimes, but when it’s a thread like this, posted by a non-regular, Tier 4, no avatar… It makes me suspicious, especially when the competition’s been pushed to the defensive after the Xbox One X came out, was a huge success and attracted more games/gamers to the platform.
The Xbox One hasn’t sold as much as the PS4s, but it hasn’t sold that bad. There will be more Xbox consoles and Forza games in the future. I think most if not all upcoming Xbox “exclusives” will be on Windows 10 PCs too.
Let’s not get too excited now.
My question was genuine, I guess I was just a bit miss informed by my PlayStation owning friends regarding the state of this generations console battle! Sorry if the question came across as looking silly… BTW how do I get an avatar for my forum profile? I’m new to this forum and still learning how it all works. The only other gaming forum I’m apart of is battlefield.
Find some one with a Xbox 360 and set it up on that once you have designed your Avatar and take a gamer pick you like play around on the 360 for 10 minuet’s or so and hey presto all done. You may have to log of of the forums and log back in for it to update correctly
And to the best of my sketchy knowledge that is the only way you can have a sexy mind blowing avatar like mine.
