no collisions lobby!!!!

I tell u what I really enjoy no collisions !! I never thought id here myself say this but I DO enjoy them !! been in the A class lobby today which I don’t normally drive but I gave it a crack anyway and the races I had were really good especially when your coming up to lap someone and your heart drops thinking (here we go ) but u realise there ghosted (get in) !! I think in forza 6 they should do both either collisions on or off hoppers depending on what mood ur in !!

The reason why you enjoy it so much is due to not having to put up with the Forza community smashing you into the barriers.

Now Forza 6 needs to go in two directions…Sim direction as in we race properly or keep it the same as now and make and arcade style racer online and ban people that think it’s an arcade racer.

or give the community back the ability to search for user created lobbies.

Or just give everyone a Forza 4 HD seeing as the community loved it so much and 5 is so much of a back step it would be a good start …

that’s probably going too far lol.

for me, the only two things required to put this game back up in my estimation as the very best of games would be:

distance meters
searchable custom lobbies

in all for implementing ghost lobbies, tag virus and whatever, even though they have zero appeal to myself. But the two things ive mentioned above would take this game onto the level it should be imo

This…

I don’t understand why they don’t go towards a sim direction, give us a license system like iRacing… Better yet just takes some notes from proper sim games… They make horizon for the arcade community… So why don’t they make a proper sim? Why do we have this half-cade-sim… It makes no sense to me.

Make the driving and gameplay sim like, but keep the upgrading. It’s a great recipe.

The only reason collisions off is good for some is because there isn’t a proper system in place to punish those who wreck… Get a clue turn 10.

Because Sim doesnt sell well to the mainstream, although we all beg out for it, its all about the money and the business in the end, there is another game coming later this year that will satisfy our inner Sim child

I don’t think that’s true. People are under the assumption that this is and GT are sim and they still buy it.

It might even sell better since there currently is zero sims on console… At least untill November.

the last Full sim (in 4 wheel I can remember that was good) was Race Pro but again it had some bugs but the community just wasnt there, it was just too simmy for the console market who want an easy game where when they get annoyed its easy to wreck everyone with very little consequences

November cant come soon enough

I’m on the record as saying I’m a big fan of the no-collision lobbies and welcome as many as they are willing to put in the game. Don’t think I’ll get much use out of this month’s A Class, though. Not the game’s fault - I’ll simply be on vacation for a good part of the month and without Forza. No, not putting the XB1 in my luggage - too much space and would catch too much grief from wife.

I’m guessing this no-collision flavor of the month club is here to stay. With my luck, next month will be X or P class. Oh well - time to catch up on rivals work.

Sorry, Krank. Won’t be any until the 21st or so, at the earliest. I’ve been told I need to incorporate things like “sunshine” and “outdoors” into my life. Eh, doctors - what do they know?

Managed to do a little A Class practice. So far, found it a little rougher for me than the lower classes. I think with a few more days of dialing in the cars I could be where I want to be. And, then, the month will end and I’ll have to start all over. sigh

Have not really played the multiplayer lobbies but I like the whole no collisions idea.

no collisions is a good lobby

but the down side is all the corner cutters :frowning: In the majority of collision off lobbies i used to join, damage was always set to simulation and fastest lap won the race. This cut the problem of wall grinders and corner cutters, of which there are a few in this game.

No collision hoppers are Forza’s last chance to garner a much larger share of the gamer population. It’s fun!

These kids are getting worse with this intentional waiting to be lapped and taking people out, I mean nearly every race and now it’s at a point of stupidity when they do it to the drivatar when you finish the race, seriously, no collisions or an option for it or compromise ie, lapped cars are permanent ghosts, first 20 seconds with no collisions I feel needs to be a requirement

good point wedge is king !! I think the first 30 seconds of the race should be ghosted to let the race take shape and get away from all the TW*ts that try and take you out first couple of corners then lapped cars should be ghosted problem solved !!! TURN 10 TAKE NOTE !!!

Yeah i like the no collisions , I like to see the dumb people still trying to ram me off , funny )

Awesome! I love it as well. Anyone who tells your they don’t enjoy ghost racing is lying. If you bought this game, you like racing and you’ll like racing, ghosts or not. It’s a matter of which mode they prefer more of when racing online. But don’t listen to anyone who tells you its not enjoyable!
