Purchased through the Forzathon store. I don’t normally drive Nissans. But wow, this thing is so grippy on the snowy roads. I’m so surprised! It truly is a thing of beauty to drive.
Just fyi, was a waste of points to get it it via the shop. Myself and many others got ours weeks ago buying the car with the perk that rewards it and making the car ourselves. But yes the car the is amazing, just needs a better top end speed she is a little slow on the big end
With the double Forzathon points perk from buying the house, it didn’t take long to buy one of these. I now have 2 in my garage from my Forzathon points. I’m not interested in the other Nissan.
Just got the game recently, so I have not been doing too much Forzathon… until I noticed the GTR LM as a reward. Now that will be my focus. It is a must have in my garage in any game it is in.
I loved this car for A class in Surfer’s Paradise asphalt only in FH3. Top Speed wasn’t a big factor for those races but man it could corner on a dime.
But on the plus side, you also get an R390, and perk points are easy to farm. Also, it comes out fully upgrade to the top of S2 (how much would you need to spend on the stock one to get it there?).
Yes the thing is a beast in Extreme Track Toys as long as the track is fairly tight, has insane power-down compared to the litany of Zonda FEs the AI throws at you, was my main car when I was farming RR influence to get up to level 20 to unlock Goliath (the car itself isn’t actually that great at FH4 Goliath which seems to be a lot more open and flowing than FH3 Goliath)
2 G’s at 120. More than any Viper, Ferrari FXX K, more than a Senna with all its modern aerodynamics. Quite laughable. And FYI it seems the Senna can get to 2.07 G’s with the crappy Forza wing… the highest in the game albeit.
Okay I’ve played a long time and never bothered to look at lateral Gs. Thanks for the heads up. Seems the Lotus GT1 hits 2.19 with down force maxed out.
This is true. 2.07 is not the max. I don’t have the game in front of me right now to give exact numbers, but I pay attention to the lateral Gs a lot (maybe the most helpful stat/simulated data … doesnt lie like some others) and a number of cars break 2.10. A used a McLaren 720S PO last night that developed more. When you add downforce from a race splitter and spoiler in your tune, it changes the simulated lateral G data. Tuning and upgrading both effect the number appropriately. The GT-R LM is a great drive and handles well, but it’s doesn’t pull the most Gs in either X class or S2 class.
Whilst I agree that this car handles like a dream, my favourite car by far, I am surprised no one has mentioned the bug with this car clipping on uphill and uphill corners
