Night + Rain

Why we can’t have both together ???

Do you remember Project Gotham 4 back in 2007 … Night racing with rain, even snow … WITH motorcycles !!!

That would be cool. Snow would be nice too. Blizzard Mountain snowy circuit races are a blast! Combining precip with darkness should reduce visibility that much further, making a great racing challenge.

Nothing has really touched DriveClub’s weather effects and variations/selections, but for the most part I’m happy with the weather in Forza7, although night/rain would be fantastic.

Yes, I remember when motorcycles ruined one of my favourite franchises. : (

They had a place in the game and I was welcome to the idea but it should not have been on the track with the cars simultaneously. They would have been better off segregated.

  • Night and Rain combined.
  • 60fps
  • Native 1080p (4K on Xbox One X)

Pick 2.

I do not see any reason why we cannot have the 3… Many other games are able to combine all this features together… Let’s start with… hummm… Forza Horizon 3 !!!

It’s as ridiculous as not being able to set night on each tracks.

30fps

Racing at night in the rain is not a normal condition for most racers. Probably anything that runs 24 hours but otherwise I would imagine the race would be slowed or stopped IRL until conditions improve.

In my opinion I think it would make for some real challenging moments but I preferred the puddling from FM6 with the pre-set conditions. I don’t feel my car being sucked into the puddle in 7 like I did in 6 the roads just feel slick. Say what you will about how dynamic weather is more awesome but it feels half done to me. I’d rather have the most realistic feeling to how my car handles than the most realistic view through the glass.

But I also thought the handling model in Forza 6 was near perfect in the A Class and slower cars. Forza 7 lets me get away with way too much before I lose grip and once you finally do lose it good luck getting it back anytime soon. Sorry if this is off topic.
