I want to share my idea of a new way to implement cars to the Horizon games.
First of all, I like it how the Forza games are constantly getting new content throughout their complete life span and that the most part of it is for free. For example the cars which are getting added after the release. So, thank you very much for that.
As a realistic thinking Forza fan I know that it is not possible to always add completely new cars to the game. So, a bit of recycling cars from previous parts of the Forza franchise will always be there. And in most cases it’s no problem because it’s just getting back some of the beloved cars we have driven in the past.
But I also know that some members of the Forza community are a little bit annoyed sometimes when “old cars” are getting recycled.
So, I thought about a way to address this. My suggestion would be to go on adding completely new cars and also older ones but in a different way.
What if the Forzathon would be the place to go to for exclusively getting all the new stuff and only that? That way the Forzathon would gain in value and it would motivate more players to complete it again.
For the older or recycled cars there are many more possibilities already in the game to bring them in. I think of the Wheelspin, the re-use of barn find sheds or simply as new addition to the ingame car market where you can buy it for ingame credits.
That way as I’ve said above, the Forzathon with the all new cars (or returning cars from Forzathons before of course) would gain more attraction and more value and players would definitely be more hooked to completing or even playing it.
And by adding cars from previous Forza games via the methods mentioned above features like the Wheelspin, barn finds or the car market would be kept fresh as well.
Would do you guys think?
