New to Forza 5! Please help!

Hello all! I’m new to Forza 5, and I hate to sound creepy but I’m basically looking for a driving mentor lol. Put it however you like, but I can drive very well. I’m driving with most assists off. I have braking line, and automatic ?transmission? on. I don’t have very extensive knowledge about cars. But I love the way they look, and sound. I can race highly skilled drivatars. So I’m somewhat “good”. But I’m looking to improve, and might I add that only recently did I learn what oversteer, and understeer meant. Anyways I would love to learn how to drift (I can’t even if I wanted.) , and I would love to have some one, anyone. Give me some tips to driving. I’m so used to slamming the gas pedal as far as it goes… But that doesn’t work so well in the Konesiegg Agera R. Anyways feel free to give me any tips, or advice, and if you’re willing hop on and teach me some driving techniques, or if you’re up for it. Teach me how to drift!

Honestly, the best mentor you’ll find is by going into rivals and working your way up the leaderboard - taking on the ghosts of more competitive drifters as you go along. Additionally, start out with the lower class vehicles and as you get better at those, jump to the next class level. This will help you understand the optimal drifting line and will allow you to observe the approaches some of the game’s best drifters take to rack up high drift scores.

As for throttling and vehicle tuning techniques, check YouTube for some tutorials or stop by the Drift Lounge.

shadow he wants drift lessons. he wants sliding not speed. i dont drift, if i’m drifting i blew a brakeing point and went in way too hot. i’m not gonna be much help. i think i am still sitting at 0 drifting points.

Correct me if I am wrong, I believe my response stands. There are drift Rivals events.

i was unaware. never seen those. i was thinking hotlapping. sorry.
