Sorry if it was meant to be a surprise, T10 should know what we’re like by now XD
But I assumed it was only a matter of time until someone posted here, and since I didn’t see a thread already I put this up. If it was meant to be a surprise feel free to get rid of this haha
Another hidden car? Oh no, I have a feeling the hidden car situation is gonna get worse. Remember that 1966 Silvia that Turn 10 never talked about? Unforgettable.
I can’t see it using the link either, I suspect the picture needs to be rehosted in order for anyone else to see it?
I was just thinking, The Ferrari prize car was last seen in FM4. This AM was also last seen in FM4, correct? There is a huge list of FM4 cars we don’t have in FM6. I would be totally happy with a continued stream of prizes to incentiveize either league racing, Rival challenges, or both, at the same time even. There could be a rival challenge of beat this celebrity or Turn 10 staffer’s time and win this car and a league with a prize for being in the top 50% or whatever going at the same time even. Or even keep hiding cars as Easter eggs encouraging community interaction. Imagine how much more activity the forum could see when people found out they missed out on the '66 Silvia and other future Easter eggs that they would have known about if they had participated on the forum.
Events like this also help tuners. Struggling to beat the rivals time? you download the tunes of some of the top leaderboard times to try to help. Struggling to be competitive in a league, look at the winners of the races and download the tunes they are running.
There are so many benefits to the prize car system. Especially for the many of us to whom credits have becoming mostly meaningless for. Cars I can only get as prizes certainly get me to participate in things I wouldn’t otherwise participate in and help keep the game fresh.
Whatever, the point is more that we all get annoyed when we pay for DLC that is a bunch of cars that had already been included in previous games with one new to the franchise car thrown in. Turn 10 has done a great job of giving us new cars as DLC even if there is a big contingent of whiners that aren’t happy unless the DLC is full of nothing but the latest hyper cars. I like this method of giving us cars returning to the series as prizes while keeping DLC cars fresh and can’t wait to see the announcement of the contest that is run to award us this car.
Apologies for me being completely inept at sharing the picture, I don’t know why it’s not working. If anyone can access it and could repost it in here for others that’d be helpful.
You will have to save the picture to your hard drive and upload it to imgur, photobucket, or some other photo sharing site with the privacy set to public. Then you will be able to post it so others can see it. There may be away to open up the privacy on the OneDrive so that the picture would be available for the public to see it as well, I haven’t used OneDrive at all really to know how it works.
I actually tried to upload something to one drive to see how it works, now that I’ve done that, those of us that can’t see it might not be able to see it due to something blocking OneDrive. I can access the site but the file i tried to upload wasn’t uploading. So it may not be a problem with anything the OP is doing.
I had a photo up in a different thread that worked just fine for me…at first. Went back to it and the pic is now broken. Mine was a screenshot just from using the Xbox’s screenshot function, so if yours was, maybe that’s just it. Phone (or just regular camera) pictures to Flickr then uploaded here seem to work though.
About the car: I’ll definitely be getting this if it shows up via the Buy Cars menu in career. Missed out on the Silvia because I was waiting for official word (grumble grumble), and I’m not letting lightning strike twice.
Anyone have an idea on the division though? Honestly given the year and type of car, I don’t see one that fits it, unless you really stretch Modern Sport Legends.
Yeah, tough call on Division. Performance wise it would fit in either Historic Sportscar Racing or Modern Sport Legends, but neither group has a car in the 1970s.
It doesn’t belong in historic sportscar racing at all IMO, the youngest car there is from 1968 so it would be 9 years difference but more importantly it would just feel so wrong to have it there. That group definitely needs to stay 50s and 60s.
As for Modern Sports Legends, yeah I agree it could go there, the oldest one there is from 1981 (BMW M1) which is only 4 years difference, IMO the 1977 Astin would fit in nicely there.
