I was planning of buying Forza Horizon 3 game with every DLCs because it’s really a cool racing game, but it’s so expensive and even more when buying the new released DLCs that’s not included in the Ultimate Edition, so I might as well wait for the christmas sale or even the next summer day so I can get those in a discounted price so I can save as many money as possible.
Now the question is: any chance for the new DLCs, the 2 expansions (Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels) and the 3 new car packs (Mountain Dew, Hoonigan and Porsche) to be added to the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition bundle?
I’m way impatient already to get that cool game with all DLCs released so far.
I don’t think so. If they do it, it’ll be in an edition better than the Ultimate one.
The reason is simple. For completionists like me, it definitely sucked to have to buy the Expansion Pass separate from the Ultimate Edition, but, once you play through the expansions, you realize it makes a whole lot of sense to sell them separately. Both of them are way too different from the base game and appeal to a niche demographic. Blizzard Mountain is even more biased towards AWD cars than the base game due to all the snow, and Hot Wheels is a bit of an “expert mode” expansion suited to people who want a real challenge at insane speeds. HW is also the best map for Rivals, IMO, because, at such high speeds, success requires pinpoint precision.
If I were you, I’d buy Ultimate, then the remaining car packs, and watch some reviews/gameplay of BM and HW to see whether you really want them or not.
They wont change what is included in the ultimate edition but they usually release a platinum edition after about 18 months - 2 years which might include everything and then again it usually misses something
Correct me if I’m wrong, but they haven’t done this since FM3 or 4.
They do have deals on the windows store, like FM6 with all the DLC for less than $50 (I don’t know of it is still available). I don’t think they ever did it for FH2, but they did heavily discount all the DLC for it recently (again, don’t know if it is still available.)
