Hello
Since FM6 is out, i noticed a few very annoying things with night races, and waited for updates that came out in October and November but it hasnt changed… so i report them, here it is :
First problem :
As you can see on these screens, this was took in Replay mode.
This happen on Every car in every night race during a Replay, and also on every IA car during a race.
During a Replay, the distance of lighting is like 10m, for every car (IA and us), you just can’t see anything, the road or the car.
During a race, this happen to IA cars and its very disappointing because only OUR car have a normal distance of lighting.
This is a comparison between a screen taken during the race and a screen taken looking at the replay :
→ the distance of lighting should be the same for every car, in replay or during a race, and a much longer than this !
Second problem :
As you can see on that screen, it was took during the race.
the other car lights do not illuminate the interior of our. In Forza Horizon 2, others cars were illuminating the interior of our, and it was great and realistic !
Furthermore, the IA light behind me do not dazzled as much as in true.
→ please bring back interior illumination from other light, and increase the power of lights, to make it more blinding in mirrors
Third problem :
As you can see on that screen, it was took during the race.
Like i said in the first problem, Distance light is ridiculous from others cars (IA and multiplayer), but here is not my point.
The appearence of lights are not very realistic, it seems every car is driving in a fog and every light is like covered by something, they never dazzle. its not natural and not realistic. Again, Forza Horizon 2 is really better done for that.
the aspect may vary between cars, and this is worse on cars that were not scanned since a long time.
→ make lights more powerfull , more blinding… more realistic in fact. actually their aspect is like a flashlight… take exemple on Forza Horizon 2 again ! (and better distance of lighting like said in First Problem !!!)

Fourth problem :
this one is less visible but not very realistic.
As you can see on the right light, we can see the illumination, even where the right side of the boot hides the light, it seems like the illumination is added on the car, whatever its angle
→ check the parts that hide the light before illuminating everything like if there was nothing
Fifth problem (doesnt concern light, look at the dashboard of the car…) :
this was took during a multiplayer race, this is on spectator mode, looking at a player in “video” mode

In Spectator mode, the “video” mode show the same things as if we were in a replay mode. But its not the same, because in Spectator mode, interior of multiplayers cars are not loaded and should probably not be showed, so sometimes we can see the interior of players cars and honestly, it is ugly.
→ The hood view should probably replace it, or even better the game could load the interior of the car which is watched during the interior sequence (and better distance of lighting like said in First Problem !!!)
Sixth problem :
Sometimes, often in the loading screen of the Nordschleife in multiplayer mode, the game load in loop and end by sending players back in the multiplayer lobby menu, and there start an infinite wait because the lobby is bugged at that point, because the race never started but the game think it is launched so it is written “waiting for player finishing the race” but everyone has returned on lobby menu waiting for the start of the next race… until everyone left to search another lobby.
→ check that there is no one in the race and switch to another track, rather than waiting in loop for nothing making the lobby buged forever until everyone left it
Problem 7 :
As you can see, there is less grass on FM6 than on FM5, which is a downgrade… Why ?
Problem 8 :
As you can see again, it seems there is a graphic downgrade, because lights details are significantly worse, it seems plastical and not as much realistic as Forza Motorsport 5. same for the Audi logo or grids under lights… Why ?
Problem 9 :
When you are inside a car with a LED rev counter, and you rev high to make it illuminate, then you go on outside view, you will see the LED counter illuminated from outside view even if you release gas… and if you go again on inside view, without touching gas, so the LED are OFF, then go in outside view, if you rev high then the LED won’t illuminate from outside view.
To be clear, the dashboard is dynamic on outside view but LED rev counter are still static and retains it states from the moment where you leave the inside view.
This is not a big bug but i saw it
→ make dynamic the led rev counter on cars which have it
So actually the only way to have a perfect race by night is to make that race alone, and without looking behind you in exterior view because the aspect of light is unrealistic. Once the race is finished, don’t look it in replay, and you won’t see any problem xD
Here it is, Nine problems that annoy me the most on that game, and the same that my friend noticed. I have to admit that the first is the biggest one, this is very frustrating and i really hope it will be fixed. But for the rest of the game I have to say that I love it !
Please, fix these as a christmas gift for us _
(oh and bring back Fujimi Kaido, Camino Viejo de Montserrat, New York Circuit and Rallye Di Positano Full Circuit <3 and dynamical weather and time, with the help of Windows 10 and Direct X12, Option to kick player on lobbies, auction room, Porsches, Ruf CTR, Audi S8, Aston Martin DB9/Rapide/DB10, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and BMW I8 )
