Need tips for cornering

I’m having a problem with cornering. I feel like I’m having to slow down too much to stay on my line through a corner. I watch others fly through the same turn and stay in there line. I’m kinda new to tuning and was just wanting some tips or advise. Thanks.

Thanks I’ll take a look!!

There are many factors to making a car turn. First though we need some input on what the car is doing in the beginning, middle, and end of the turn. Is it every car or certain ones. Rwd, Awd or fwd. Please give what PRKid posted a read through and start there. If u don’t know how to explain what ur car is doing please post the car on here. By that I mean tell us the car that ur working on and the class… then post the build and ur tune that you have on it. Hopefully u will get some good advice on here. I will be on xbox all day tomorrow so if u would like some pointers in a party I will help you get up and running. Good luck on ur tuning adventure!

IMO taking turns on is about knowing the track and practice and has nothing to do with your tune.

It might be a deadzone/assists issue

In Forza 5 it may also be a faulty asphalt issue…

Turn racing lines on (y)

Part of it is the tune and familiarity with the tune, the other part of it is track knowledge which the racing line falls under. Even if ur not using the line, it can be a helpful tool to learn tracks and cars quickly (the line shows you the general braking zones and allows u to more quickly pick out ur braking point or marker on an unfamiliar track, car, car class or build/tune…). There’s grippier parts of the track as well but sticking to them isn’t always faster much like the line. I would say the biggest factor for new players is honestly throttle steer.

Hi can anyone help me with a Toyota supra I want a grippy but quick b class car anyone have any decent tunes that you could share with me

Embedded in this thread, you might not find what you are looking for! I suggest you create a new thread with such request. You should be able to perform a search inside this FM5 Tuning section for the Toyota Supra B-class. Good luck!
