So, for starters, I’m not a drifter. However, I do enjoy it from time to time.
I need a really good set-up for Long Beach full (California Drifter rivals) so I can get the 15,000 point achievement. Closet I’ve come (with rewind practice) is 12,500 points with the Trueno. Can’t get any higher. Of course, it seems that this 15,000 point achievement is impossible for %98 of the community.

This achievement is going to be one of the most difficult to get i imagine. As of right now, i believe only 46 ppl WORLDWIDE have this.
Most users that play this game ARE NOT drifters, and this course certainly doesn’t help matters at all.
Why do developers do this to us?
Any tips, please? I can’t get more than 12,550 points…
Is drifting any harder in Forza 5, because i can’t imagine getting 15,000 on any track in Forza 4 is hard at all and Long Beach’s track configuration doesn’t look too difficult.
i got 15,192 yesterday (dirty) i quit and it did not give me the cheevo! Two of my mates did it and they got the cheevo. will give it one last try now.
Did you finish the lap before quitting? Cross the finish line completely and then quit.
As for a tip, you can get up to 4100 points on the second to last corner, before the sharp final turn, with the above GMC drift tune mentioned.
Yeah i did but for whichever reason it did not unlock the cheevo. Did it this morning though, only recorded that 1 lap (15,297 dirty), once i crossed the line i left it there stopped for 2 minutes then i finished the race and it unlocked.
Hey everyone…wow what a struggle haha I have downloaded a couple setups but still only managed to get about 5,000 per lap. My best lap was approximately 7,000.
I am working on all achievements for this game (currently 50% complete) and this is the hardest one to get by far. I’m not a drifter by any means and honestly I don’t think it belongs to this game. Need for Speed yes, not Forza.
I see you all are getting the acheivement with the mentioned setup and I will be trying it once I am home from work.
I have a request though, for those of you who have got it or will get it, can you please save the video of your lap with game dvr and post online?
Please add me FatalNewfieN1ck I would love to help anyone get some achievements and work together to get as many G as possible. Nobody on my list plays the game and I’m looking for CLEAN racers to play with. I don’t care if your a pro or if you suck, as long as your clean I’m down for racing.
So yeah if someone can post a video doing it showing what they get on what turn with what car it will help me and I’m sure everyone else out a huge amount…considering there is no video out there yet (chance for someone to get some high views here)

Just watch one of the top guys replays to see the lines they take if ur using me syclone tune like some of the other guys r u could watch mine at 18th posistion atm
For those peopled oin dirty laps stop rewinding otherwise it will make it dirty lap so suck it up stop rweinding and put down solid lap
Where do I view the replays if people never saved them? Yours you mentioned woom, did you save it…not sure how to find replays yet.

I agree with the comments about that this is a pretty ridiculous achievement. I’m a casual Forza player who enjoys actually playing other games and some of the achievements they put in the game require crazy grinding for the casual player (1000 MP miles lead or 325 MP medals for example) or are next to impossible such as this one.
I know I may get roasted for my thoughts, but they really need to think these through before putting them out there. IMO, all achievements should be able to be achieved in a certain amount of game play even by your casual players that use assists. This one, IMO, should have been a challenge, not an achievement.
This is a fantastic tandem track but a terrible points track. Got 15,000+ no problem. Now back to tandems
