Hi, before you close my thread mods, please know that I am seeking help from others who’ve been banned, I’m not requesting a ban appeal here. I’ve gone through support for the last 24 hours and they are incredibly unhelpful. If you submit a ban appeal ticket, it gets close automatically with zero follow up. I submitted a ticket under a different tag (Can’t Access Online) but once again they just direct me to the page that tells me why I’m banned. I know already! I am trying to find out what caused the ban so I can remove it from my game.
Long story short, a livery I downloaded from another user got flagged as “Content Incident - Child Endangerment.” The problem is, I have no clue which livery it is. I would never purposely download anything offensive (such as a “Free Candy” van). I also read through the enforcement guidelines and did not see anything that I violated to my knowledge.
I really just want to know if anyone ever got a response to this, or a successful appeal. If support is not going to tell me which livery is tagged offensive, and I have NO CLUE which one it is, what are my options? Delete all 100 of my liveries and play from here on out with plain cars and no wraps? I simply do not understand why we don’t get a warning first to avoid situations like this. I am sitting out for a whole week because I downloaded someone else’s livery and support won’t tell me which one it is.
I’m thinking this is my only option, which is sad because liveries are one of my favorite parts about FH.
Support finally disabled my ability to submit tickets, so I guess they got tired of me asking what livery I was banned for. I don’t understand why they can’t just tell me which one it is, it is obviously something skirting on the rules that doesn’t stick out when I read them.
Don’t know if that works, but if you go under “My Liveries” (or however it is called in your language version) you have the status screen on the left for the selected livery. If it states public, it shouldn’t be banned, don’t know what the status for banned liveries will be. But that’s may be a start for getting rid of the livery in question.
Currently going through and deleting every single livery, one by one. Haven’t seen this issue but I did have some custom liveries (which can’t be public if you use others’ vinyl stickers). These are all marked private.
Turn10/Microsoft are the absolute worst in that regard.
They ban players because they got a Japanese flag on their car (because the customers n West Taiwan are little whiny children). Or you get banned because somewhere on your car is a small sticker 8you probably didn’t even notice) that they don’t like.
On the other hand me and my friends reported a dozen of players with clear [Mod Edit - Duek] themed nick names and even liveries and nothing happens.
Seriously, this is all just a bad joke.
And @TO, i’m sorry this happened to. I know how frustrating it is having to deal with Turn 10 customer “support”
