Need help with the Mini JCW GP, how to get better traction without aero?

Before anything else: I’m not much of a good tuner at all

I’m trying to make a decent A class AWD base engine build for the 2012 Mini john cooper works GP.
However I do not wish to use any Aero parts as this is just a fun build and I think aero parts are ugly on anything that isn’t a dedicated racer.
The problem is that the car has horrible cornering, losing traction and going into drifts at as low as 65 on even gentle turns, it makes the car extremely frustrating to drive for road racing.
The only solution I’ve found so far is to install the rear-wing as it seems to stabilize the car around corners.
If anyone can tell me how to fix/tune the car, as to fix the traction problem without having to install aero/downforce, or if that’s even possible, would be much appreciated.

Try optimizing the camber settings. What I do is go through a corner at racing speed with the telemetry window up. Specifically the tires and wheels one. Look at the camber of the outside tire. If it is at -.2 degrees in corners, make the car have .2 degrees less negative camber. You want it to be flat through corners on the outside tire. Also, check out the brake balance. With the friction window, brake and see if the front or rear has a higher percent. Tune it so they are about equal.

Less weight, better tires, lower ride height, softer springs, center-balanced…
