From my understanding, the only way anyone could sell a car on the auction house (bid or buyout price) for millions is to become a legend painter or tuner. To accomplish this task (again, from my own understanding), one would have to achieve at least 50,000 total downloads, uses, and/or likes of either designs or tunes. My ultimate goal is to become a legend tuner to flip Forzathon cars and become rich in-game.
I understand that this will not happen overnight. This can possibly take me months, which to be honest, I am not looking forward to AND I probably do not have enough time to do this in a short period of time.
I will try my hardest not to make this an advertisement. I only seek help to achieve that milestone to become a legend tuner.
So far, I have about 260 total downloads from all of my tunes, and an unknown amount of likes and uses (I believe I can check those stats through the daily messages that I receive each day). I am still a Freelance Tuner, and it will be a difficult and tedious task to make it to be a legend.
Any tips or tricks on to how to achieve this quickly? My only strong hand in this one are my tunes, and my most favorable tunes only have like fifty downloads each!
P.S - I’m posting this in two different threads to get the most advice from two different groups of players.
Forgive me for at least trying to make an effort to earn money quickly to do anything I want in the game! The whole flipping cars thing seems iffy and scummy as it is, but at least provide a response that is worth reading and helpful.
What do you think it’s magic. Paint a bunch of cars with minimal effort as possible and get a bunch of friends to download and like for you. Same with tunes.
There magic it’s done and you to can feel free to try gouge everyone else too
Helpful enough
I can’t wait for T10 to fix this with update. To everyone back to base amounts or everyone having legendary painter/tenure status. I don’t care. But please stop filling our game up with black painted zinc cars already.
And when everyone’s on even playing field doubt highly the gouge will still be on
I thought that there was at least SOME effort put into becoming a legend painter/tuner. You don’t think I get angry too when I see a Ferrari 599xx with a rainbow paint job that sells for $7 million? And then I wonder to myself, “how are they legend painters if they have a matte rainbow paint job”? Maybe I should’ve put 2 and 2 together, but I didn’t realize it was frowned upon by the ENTIRE community (except for the flippers themselves). All I’m trying to really say is that to make the most amount of money, you have to flip cars.
How is it ripping people off? It’s their fault that they are greedy enough to spend $10 million on a Porsche 918, so I really don’t feel bad for doing it. Also, the people that spend that large amount of money on a car like that are often flippers themselves! It just takes patience to wait for a car that comes up for like $1 mil instead of $20 mil.
Because legendary painter & tuner immediately buy rare forzathon cars at a maximum buyout of around 1mil (the maximum for “normal” players) to then sell them all at a price of 20mil. It’s really not nice to people who miss forzathon and don’t want to spend all their money on that car. I agree you want to earn money but when I see a single player selling a dozen cars at a ridiculous price, it’s annoying
So it is greedy to buy a car for 10 million but not greedy to sell one for 10 million when it was either free or cheap and all you did was a 30 second paintjob?
I’d say the greedy ones are the lazy 5 layer wonders who list them for 10 million credits. If you’re planning on doing it, you’re only contributing to the problem.
Did you even read what I posted? You should have implied that I did not know that people can put minimal effort into designs and tunes just to flip cars. I thought people on these forums were supposed to be of at least average intelligence.
And also, it goes both ways of who is greedy or not in this situation.
Why do you think I started the thread in the first place? I wanted to know how to do this just to make money easily and quickly. Lol it’s so common throughout the auction house that I thought people would actually help each other out on how to make money like this. I had NO idea that this was frowned upon.
Would people stop being butthurt about this and go back under their rocks please?
In fairness apparently the op doesn’t put worthless paints up… yet
Why wouldn’t the entire community besides those that are taken advantage of it like this???
I can’t believe that a person can take a car for free and then sell it for 10mil or just because they can buy it for a normal max payout and easily triple there credits.
DO YOU really think that was what the intent of legendary status was when the devs created it.
“We just hope a bunch of persons boost stupidly simple paints so they can gouge the community”
Or do you think it was there for real painters and it was an attempt to ring back the exclusive paints auctions.
PLEASE LET THEM PATCH THIS AND LET IT END ALREADY
This is as bad if not worse then the driftap exploit. Least that was just about a level or XP that didn’t affect a bunch of the community. People got a platinum
This is crazy 10mil for a free car and I bet you a bunch of them didn’t even bother doing the event to get the car
Best way to be able to sell cars for loads of credits is to learn how to become a tuner or painter, produce a good product and then sell them with a bit of imagination, youll eventually reach legendary status on merit rather than attempting to cheat the system or yourself out of the objectives of the game.
To everyone, please remember that while flipping cars for profit may not seem like a great way to utilize the driving game they spent money on, as long as no rules are broken its up to them how they choose to play the game.
The worst part is when they max out their credits then keep going and save up uncollected credits in the auction house because they cannot collect it anymore…and they still buy and sell beyond that point???
One of the more famous painters in a previous thread said he hit max credits in a short time and has millions more in uncollected sales…why did no one hate on him for that?
So Im assuming if your a veteran player / painter its accepted but not if your new to it?
Im still against the unlevel playing field and would like to see it changed, im happy with my rating as just a trophy for my effort.
A little cash perk is acceptable but not like ths, I went from poor to middleclass in a day of flipping cars…to be honest It was fun but I would have preffered if it was a little more of a challenge to be financially secure in game…
