So I have been playing Forza 6 for the past 3 weeks, and absolutely love it the more I get to understand and improve in the game. I played Forza 5 for like 2 hours when it came with my first Xbox 1, so that doesn’t really count. I understand that the best way to improve is to practice, and I am committed to doing just that and will continue to do so. I am able to set decent clean times in rivals, but when racing, I seem to really be missing something. I have identified that where I am slow and losing time is when I come out of corners. I am not sure if I am going in to slow, in the wrong gear, not getting right line (though I use the braking lines and try to follow those as best I can). So, just looking to see if anyone has any other suggestions/comments that might help me get better and faster. Like I said, I am totally addicted to this game, watching videos, practicing and reading all that I can. Also, are there teams out there that take on beginners/noobs? If so, how do you join and link up…I don’t use facebook. Any comments to help me get better are appreciated! Thanks
Hey there,
I think the best advice I can give you is to watch the replay of the driver that set the fastest in the car/tune that you are using at that track and watch how they control the car around the track, what gears they are in throughout the lap, what lines they take through corners etc. And of course practice, practice, practice.
Rivals is a great way to try new things and to bring those lap times into the racing environment. Another suggestion is to set a rival ghost time of someone that is going to be a challenge but not impossible, you will find you tend to push yourself a bit harder if you do that.
In regards to joining teams, I think if you just keep your eye out on these forums and just keep active in the Forza community.
Cheers
