Need advice on a good corner tune

Ok so every week me and fellow xbox one gamers from the xbox forums do a forza 5 meet up and challenges on rivals mode. This weeks its using a AWD car on prague S class now the car doesnt have to be a AWD from the start we can add that so some of use are using a X-Bow now iv set a time of 1:56 with no tuning the only assist i use are ABS and atuo gears yet the top guy is getting a 1:52 iv even tried his tuning set up i dunno what i am doing wrong. Id like to do my own tune but for conering i have no idea where to start i mean is soft or stiff better for corners

Have you tried awapping in the 1.6l rally engine. I know that does not address handling but in S class the quick xbows often use that engine.

Hey yes i have 3 xbows all using the 3 dif engines the rally engine has more touqe etc but when i go on rivals mode it asks if id like to upgrade my car to match the others

The rally motor is the answer if u run manual. Shift it right before 5500 rpms. If u run auto then use the 3.7 vvt

Im pretty sure Manual Clutch will increase your time, specially with the rally engine, you need to gear up about 5500 rpm, im guessing with auto gears it will gear you up at the red line

Ok now you have lost me

The pi 784 xbow is a leaderboard car. When the message comes up about it needs to be upgraded choose “Race Anyway”.

With the rally engine due to the early power band the engine has the ideal rpm to shift up gears is around 5,500rpm. But the redline is higher than that. Using auto it probably stays in gear a little too long.

Regarding your tier on the forums sometimes it seems to lose the connection to your tier. Just ignore it, it will come back.

Why am i a TIER 1 im a TIER 6 ???

iv just used it and when i change geers the line stays above6,000 how do i change that

If you are using auto then you will be limited what you can do. Try shifting final drive towards speed and go a long way towards speed if it is helping stay under 5500rpm.

If you are using manual you may still want to move final drive towards speed so you have 5 gears visible on the graph in the tuning screen but 5th starts to disappear off the end of the graph.

Also when changing gears if you change up and are still in high revs then keep changing up until you get the revs below 5500 and then manage your gears changes to stay below 5500.
