I have the same problem here. I have a PC and an Xbox Series X on the same local network and internet provider. On the PC, I have no issues playing in multiplayer mode, but on the Xbox, ever since update 19, it no longer works — it just shows a message saying multiplayer is unavailable. I’ve tried every possible adjustment: Xbox settings, router, NAT, DNS, reinstallation — nothing fixes it. It’s clearly a bug, and honestly, as a fan of the franchise and of Xbox, it’s shameful that this game still has so many bugs, some of which are very critical.
Same problem here on Xbox since update 18, multiplayer is not available when connected to my home network. I have tried every possible solution mentioned here without success.
Last days, I experimented with MTU size of my connection. My home network is vdsl2 with MTU 1492. When the console is connected to my mobile hotspot multiplayer works. Mobile data have MTU size of 1500.
I changed the MTU size in my router settings to 1500 and now Im able to connect to multiplayer from my home network!
Can someone give it a try please?
I’ve had the same problem for two months — it’s ridiculous and embarrassing for Forza to keep multiplayer disabled for this long.
The multiplayer isn´t disabled. For the majority it works normally.
But for a minority there is a problem with ISP and MTU ports.
Some internet provider can´t reach those ports and then you can´t access the multiplayer.
I also tried it with mobile data and it worked.
- Home network: (Telekom)
- Mobile network: (Vodafone)
But this shouldn´t be a solution in my opinion
Home network: O2
No MP
Mobile network: T-mobile
No Plan, because its make no sense
T10? Are you alive???
This is a shame. Imagine if someone here was participating in a championship. More than a month without a solution, this is ridiculous.
My mtu ports in the router? T9 bring your game working.
MTU stands for Maximum Transfer Unit, its not a port. You may be able to configure it from your router settings.
Thx, that’s the only tip that has worked for me so far. I also have a Telekom connection and router and have connected the console to the mobile hotspot of the cell phone (also Telekom) as a test and the multiplayer worked perfectly - although the connection is restrictive (for example, the NAT type here is set to Strict). It is also a bit annoying that the network cable always has to be unplugged from the console to allow the WLAN connection at all.
There is no solution for me at all. I only play this game mp and it does not work since months . What is with turn10. Do they sleep. Fix your last Update. Before that everything was ok
Me too same problem since update 18.
I’ve had this problem since march the 21st and still haven’t found the issues but all my other Multiplayer games work but mines keeps saying Multiplayer manager disabled
Same here had this problem for 5 weeks also now since the update
Same probleme since 2 months
We’ve made several updates in April to address multiplayer availability issues. If you’re still experiencing the Multiplayer Manager Disabled message after April 18th, the team requests that you submit a ticket at Forza Support for further investigation into your details:
