Found a couple issues related to a multi-monitor setup. Detailed below:
- The game will not remember which monitor it was last launched on.
- If you move the game to another monitor and then put it in fullscreen, it will have a thin white border on two sides of the image.
- The game will hard cap the framerate to whatever monitor it was launched on.
So issue number one, if you’ve got a two-monitor setup, whatever is set as your primary monitor in Windows will be what FM2023 launches on. If you move it to another monitor, then put it in fullscreen, you’ll get a white border on two sides of the image.
For issue number three, the game won’t unlock the framerate after you move the game to another monitor. So let’s say your primary monitor is 60 hz, your secondary is 120 hz. The game will start on the 60 Hz monitor, but if you move it over to the 120 hz monitor, the game will remain capped at 60 fps even if you have the framerate setting to “Unlocked.” With that setting, your framerate should go all the way up to 120 fps, the max Hz of your monitor (of course, IF your GPU can push the game that high).
Hopefully, this is detailed enough for the issue to be rectified in a future patch.
