More OEM Body kits, spoilers, wheels for each car

I can’t be the only one that wants more OEM visual parts in Forza games (body kits and spoilers/wings).

But how about also having an option to choose the OEM wheels (like in Test Drive Unlimited) on the car?! It’s honestly one of my favorite features of that game!

Here’s a quick example. 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 in the game is the car with an optional carbon fiber track package. It’s the fastest version of the car, so no complaints there. However. In my personal opinion, the big wing and the carbon fiber wheels don’t look as good as the spoiler and the wheels of the base model. Other cars in the game have some OEM options when it comes to body kits and spoilers, but for some reason this car doesn’t (you can remove the wing completely but you don’t have an option to put the base model spoiler).

I think if the car comes with more than 1 body kit or wing/spoiler, or set of wheels, it would make the game much more fun to play if we can choose the exact OEM parts that we want on ours cars. Because not everyone wants to put every aftermarket upgrade on the car that’s maxed out. Some of us enjoy driving stock cars and it would be a lot better if we could have some more OEM options in the Forza games!

Such an underrated thread, would love to see oem wheels on different cars as well. They should have done this from the beginning instead of releasing a nismo 370z. Could have just added the bodykit “preset” build that would also tune up the car to the nismo spec instead of the base 370. Instead they choose to release essentially the same car twice and with the audacity to add it behind a paywall.

Yes, more OEM wheels. Some cars have a couple of optional wheels which we never got. They do look good though so would be nice if we got the official ones instead of looking for an alternative in the rims list

I think it would be great if the original rims of other cars became available for other cars. This would further add rims to the selection that could be installed on cars.

I think licensing prevents this. No car company will allow wheels from competitors on their cars

Would be good to fit the same manufacturer wheels though for example escort RS cosworth wheels on the Sierra cosworth RS 500 or BMW M4 wheels on M3 etc….
This could be integrated in the wheel option when you Select the standard wheel tab that’s even labelled the manufacturer name anyway so wouldn’t even have to change any menu interface it would just open up all that manufacturers wheels

I believe it was Gran Turismo 4 which allowed this and it was a fantastic feature!

That game sort of had a system for days of the week and every in-game day there was a “used” rim section where sets of factory rims from about every car in the game were available to purchase and install onto any other car. Every seven days it would return to the first list and endlessly cycle through.

The number of wheel options would grow to an insane amount if we could do this and I am ALL for it.

  1. Unlock factory wheel swaps as well. If nothing else at least other wheels from the same manufacturer on different cars from that manufacturer. For example the Nissan 300zx looks pretty proper with 350z 6 spokes and are interchangeable irl, would be cool to do this in game.

They also had the rims from cars you own when you put other wheels on your car they go into a spare wheel section that you then had access to for any car. I used to love that because you could have bigger rims on your car (a time before wheel size was an option) as the wheel and tire were modelled together

That’s right, I completely forgot!

I also loved this feature in TDU, including being able to choose factory interior color options!

Being able to swap factory wheels across cars of the same manufacturer makes a lot of sense too. While I’d like all wheel options to be available to every vehicle in the game I can see where that might cause some issues.

Edited to include significant interest in having more spoiler options!

Can we please instead of getting more aftermarket wheel options can we get some more factory options for example Alfa Romeo makes their beautiful gray, black, and chrome 5 hole signature wheels these are available on the giulia, 4C, and the 8C or how Mercedes Benz have been offering multiple wheel options on almost their whole lineup for quite a few years now

In some cases this is actually outright necessary.

A prime example is the Porsche 911 3.3 Turbo which is a type 930 that comes with the fitting Fuchs “winged” rims. But there are tuning parts (bumpers, skirts and spoiler) that turn it into a type 964 which normally comes with Cup or the so called “Gullydeckel” (gully cover) rims.

The same goes for cars that have factory bodykits like some of the new Lancias for example. The rally versions of the Delta S4 and Stratos have completely different rims than the road cars.

But it of course would be great to have the option to chose between different factory rim types in general.

This is way more unpopular than I expected (maybe there is a similar topic elsewhere?) . We get to choose from some of the factory colors and I think some cars have multiple beautiful wheel options and being able to pick between them would be a great addition to the game!

Yes this idea already exists: OEM Body kits, spoilers and choice of OEM wheels - Horizon Features / Car Features - Official Forza Community Forums

I would love OEM wheel options. Some cars get launched with multiple great looking wheels and we are missing out on them. For example, the steelies offered on the new Defender are iconic, Porsche has some great wheel options too. Bringing every OEM wheel into the game is an incredible ask ofc. So I would love them offering 2-3 OEM wheels for cars with multiple great wheels.

Also merge https://forums.forza.net/t/factory-wheel-options/620003 with this thread maybe @mods ?

Especially on the ford gt 2005 Which hat special rims.

Different factory option wheels like what a lot of the cars have in The Crew Motorfest would be pretty cool and would be better than the selected wheels we have for some cars in the game e.g. Lamborghini Urus
