I am very reluctant to purchase DLC car packs because I was not able to reasonably obtain the Ford GT OPI edition, nor the 1932 Ford De Luxe Coupe Horizon Edition. It seems pointless to me to add extra cars to a collection I will never complete.
I was wondering if others feel the same way, and if the devs considered this as a potential issue with selling car packs.
I reckon a lot of people would be unaware of the Ford OPI car and the Horizon edition Ford. If they can make money with car packs they will continue to release them.
I’ve got both the OPI car and the 1932 Ford. There was another exclusive as well, the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster Oreo edition. You got that from buying an XBox branded Oreo pack. Got that as well.
Btw, I was just looking throught the auction house and saw 2 Ford De Luxe Coupe HE cars there both were selling for only a few millions, but ofcourse I couldn’t buy them since I don’t own the dlc. So why do people try to sell these cars there since only people that already have them can buy them?
I think the controller was only promotional vehicle available to every country, though apparently it didn’t work for Steam users. The Oreo Zonda I think was only available for Europe, the OPI GT was only available for America.
The OPI Ford GT was available in multiple countries and was a staggered roll out. I bought some nail polish for my daughter here in New Zealand and got the code to get the car. The Oreo one you could buy a code from people who had bought multiple Oreo packets and were selling the code on EBay for about $1.
