I have noticed that I’m missing various driver gear suits. The snowman one and other holiday ones were in my inventory for a day or so around Christmas and then disappeared. Also I do not have one for the original Forza Motorsport, my loyalty ones start at FM2 despite playing FM1. I literally played the demo to FM1 before it came out and still have an original Xbox hooked up to my TV with FM1 for it. What can I do to get my missing driver gear?
The Forza driver gears that you get at the start of playing FM7 is based on which loyalty tier you had, not on which earlier Forza games you played. Looking at your tier score and gamerscore for FM7 it looks to me you were not in the highest tier when you started FM7. Only the highest loyalty tier (at the start of FM7) would give you the FM1 driver gear.

Wow really? That totally feels like a slap in the face. I’ve played Forza more than any other game, it is literally the #1 video game in my life. I’ve been here since the FM1 demo and have taken off work for the majority of release days. I’m number 2 on my friends list for rewards score and apparently I’m not a loyal fan? Thanks T10, I see how it is. Makes me wonder if VIP is worth it next time around if having thousands and thousands of hours in the game isn’t enough to be considered a loyal fan, it’s not like the car packs are worth it or even on time anymore. It also doesn’t explain why the snowman driver suit literally disappeared from my inventory.
If you’ve been around that long you should be used to a slap in the face from the developers occasionally!
Also VIP wasn’t worth it this time around. Especially at the start. Which is why i’m not bothering next time. My DLC purchases have gone slowly downhill since 4, mostly picking them up in sales when they’re dirt cheap. I used to believe the devs honestly deserved my money due to the care and attention, but those days are long behind us.

Yeah, I’ve purchased every single collectors/ultimate/whatever the top edition of every single Forza game, Horizon 4 might be the first time I don’t. Not only do we get less each time but not even getting the same stuff as my brother because I’m not “loyal” enough after 13 years simply because I was busy at work the last year and only put in 60 hours for Horizon 3. If VIP gets you less and loyalty means nothing what’s the point? It’s not like driver gear I actually earned even stays in my game either.
If you want certain driver suits why not go back and play the older Forza games to boost your Tier level then start a new FM7 save. That would show a loyal fan. I have the FM1 driver suit on my other gamertag but never played it. I think I was Tier 11 when I started FM7, now Tier12 so not really sure why/how I got it.
Edit: I sometimes play older Forza;'s to max out my Tier for each game.
No, really bad idea. Don’t delete your save files, driver gear is an 1 time gift. If you start FM7 over again you won’t receive any driver gear and lose the ones you have.

Agreed. its a bad idea, but if someone feels strongly enough about a certain driver gear item its the only way of getting it. My guess is that they don’t really want it, it’s just an excuse for a grumble.

They won’t get it if they restart the game. Loyalty rewards are given out once and not again, even if you start a new save.

Just to clarify, if someone wanted the FM1 driver suit but starting FM7 with too low a Tier to get it, they can never get it?

You can get an HDMI cord on Amazon for $25. FM1 also plays in a 360.
Don’t take my word for it though, according to T10 I’m not a Forza enthusiast worthy of recognition for having played FM1; I’m merely a 13 year casual.
Although I’m on your side, T10 don’t have the time to check individuals photo’s just to dish out driver gear, as I said earlier there’s no digital way of checking old original Xbox games. It’s not T10’s fault. The Tier system tracking 360 and One saves is the only way.

Then they should have figured out a different system, maybe not do it with gear specific to games they can’t prove or find a better metric. If being number 2 on your friends list for Forza rewards and playing thousands and thousands of hours of all of their titles isn’t enough then they did something wrong. As a result I feel far less compelled to continue my streak of buying every collectors edition/VIP/DLC if I get less for it each time and a perfect streak means nothing to them. Maybe I’ll wait until a long weekend to buy Horizon 4 rather than taking off work for the release, it’s not like logging in on day 1 for previous titles says anything about loyalty. I will admit I never finished Horizon 3, I was going through pilot training for the Air Force and barely played any games for a year and a half, so yeah, I guess I’m just not a Forza fan anymore.
Thanks, it’s awesome for gaming. I just upgraded the TV and need a Xbox One X so I can start racing in all that 4k goodness. I also need to find a cable management system that can handle the sheer bulk of it all. The one I originally had up popped off its mounts under the stress.
Exactly, I wish I had known that I shouldn’t have bought FM7 yet, it’s not like the season pass has panned out either. That’s what I get for just buying the LCE of each game/expansions as they come out.

Ok so I got a question how would I get my forza motorsport 7 6 5 4 and my forza horizon 1 2 and 3 back cause I had it before but I restarted fm7 and this time it only gave me fm3 gear and also how would I get the hooligan gear cause I thought if I got the hoonigan car pack i would get it cause my dad has it and the hoonigan car pack
Create a support ticket from the link at the top of the support forum explaining why you no longer have them because you restarted
And then wait
You only usually get rewards sent once
And make sure all your dlc is fully installed
