Meta cars šŸ‘Ž

,

in fm6 you could build a ford f100 (really old truck ) with 900hp and no grip for dayona in C class its was good fun tough cause it only worked on that track cause it had stock 185 wide tires :joy:

I was thinking of that as I was writing. While I agree that that era was exciting, that’s not how power builds in multiplayer played out as those were professional drivers that had to actually worry about breaking their cars. And the performance disparity wasn’t a mystery at the start of every race.

like i said you raced agianst people who couldnt race with power builds. me and my friends could and would wait if we crashed into someone.

and wouldnt be that happy if i coulndt drive power cars anymore, but icould live with it.

but a 3.9 handling 997 gt3 (my car) is like 5.8 handling fm6 ( wich is high) cant comptete either agianst those tracktoys…
so that needs to be adressed cause i am not never gonna drive those boring OP formula cars.

than i better of buying F1 codemasters

Good for you. Like I said, most people utilizing power builds didn’t know how to drive them. See the qualifier? I didn’t say everyone, but there’s no denying that powrr builds were usually topping leaderboards. Then come the awful drivers that only download leaderboard power builds but don’t know how to race. Thus, making for a generally unpleasant racing experience because, as I stated, these people function as little more than obstacles.

I get it, you’re sold on the Jeremy Clarkson school of driving, but it’s perfectly fine that that design philosophy has gone the way of the dodo because it makes for a less interesting racing experience than properly balanced cars.

Power build or grip build i don’t really care as long as its not beating everything else by 3 to 5+ seconds a lap. Just give us balance Turn10 please.

I think the Driver/Player should take priority over Car/Builds in a multiplayer game. And I’m a huge tuner guy i spend most of time tuning for multiplayer.

I’m already legitimately level 1043 in FM8.

dont know wich game you have been playing ?

fm8 has 90% of the tracks formula mazda as number 1 . and other tracks like spa, lotus emir,a bmw m3 97 all with good pretty high handling. 3.9 atleast wich is high

fm6 mostly had alfa 33 wich is high hnadling with 6.1 and or honda s2000 with 5.8 handling iwch is high aswell.

only track where full speed build was op is road america east on fm6 wich is a square block with 4 corners. th e normal road america had cars with 5.6 hnadling wich is normal normal hnadling. speed is 5.5 or lower in fm6

maybe you rode 6.1 handling all the time in fm6 then yes 5.8 feels for you powerbuild but it isnt… 5.8 handling is optimum balance and towards handling.

i am level 2000+ so played fm6 quite alot to know whats is what

lol no way used the let the ai drive glitch a lot to level my cars and i am only level 370 lol.

on fm6 tough i am level 2000 :+1:

I let the A.I assist drive for me to level 25 and then i tune the rest of the way. I have 78 cars level 50 and all tuned and 95% on Race tires lol.

no you fell for it.
i just dont put race tires on most of my cars. cause i think 3.7 handling should be fine if the BOP would work eventaugh it doesnt work .

i just hate meta things…

I build for tracks and most builds thats the fastest way around. I dont use meta cars but im still trying to make what i use fast. I still like winning lol.

There are cars in this game that make ridiculous power on race tires if you class them high enough.

I end up not running a rear wing on most of my cars because the forza wings are terrible looking.

I’m hoping English isn’t your first language. At no point did I insinuate that power builds were king on FM8, quite the opposite.

And yes, the Alpha and Honda were always leaderboard cars, but they were often run with stock weight, tires, brakes, and suspension by talented drivers. Withholding handling upgrades for more power is a power build regardless of the vehicle’s innate handling characteristics.

And I genuinely don’t care what your driver level was, this isn’t a member measuring contest.

no english isnt my first language but alpha isnt a car brand either did you know that?

im just stating my level to let you know that i know where i talk about very much on fm6 cause i spend 100+ hours into that game and build everything and raced everything.

and what your saying is so strange so a power build has no handling mods and stock weight etc?

my 5.3 handling brz just had worse tyres but brakes and weight where full race.

and yes with a good driver a powerbuild COULD OUTRUN A s2000 but only a very few can do that.

so youre a bit upset that 1% off forza players who could control a powerbuild car could beat you in your S2000? its only 1%.
most people smash the throttle and dont get grip.

if i played the game a bit and i race agianst a guy who places top 1000-1500 in the leaderboards and drives that S2000 eventaugh i place higher in the leaderboard in (i dont say my place cause you dont like that lol)(in same alfa 33 or other handling car) he would beat me. cause the S2000 is superior to my car.

but my brz 570hp only works with a good driver , others tried but where 2-4 seconds a lap slower.

you should apprecaite people who drive proper no grip power builds ,i do atleast. it takes proper skill and is fun. 300hp i fall a sleep.

same … rarerly use forza spoilers. i just try the impossible and race whatb i want , (always did)

friends said to me why drive that car ? i said i like power and a challenge.

Autocorrect strikes again, you got me……

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, better?

I’ve never run an S2000, so no.

Gonna go ahead and mute you now. You’re not adding anything meaningful, instead really wanting to brag about your accomplishments.

lol i dont mind cause you clearly dont know what a power build is and what the solution is to the problem this game has.

fm6 had the best BOP the end

and that you didnt like to race powerbuilds cause your a bit slower in your: ferrari 360 stradale, honda s2000, bac mono, alfa 33 stradale, bmw 1m , bmw m1, supra v8, rx7 v8 are something else 5.8 or higher handling isnt the problem of the game cause the game gave you mutliple ways to build a competitve car and try to drive them.

luckily for you this game is all about handling so youre happy and you win. all good now? T10 listened to you and thet demolished every form of power builds

and now we all gonna drive ktm xbow ,formula mazdas and call it formula racing instead of A class . how great is this ? you like this right?

what a stupid idea to make a racing hopper with classes that people could build everything a be competive and have fun and win.
from pontiac aztek to even bmw isetta.

better off making division class racing with 7-8 cars then making class hoppers with 300 COMPETIVE CARS

This is why i still play forza 7 online… u can have alot diffent builds and have fun.

I feel that post.

In my case I’m not looking for power build, i just like run on street tires and sometimes sport an finally that make me love A to D class because it make more sense (for me) to use tires with less grip on cars with less power.

I’m a fan of touge, of street racing, so it’s one more reason who make me doesn’t want to use those slick tires, i notice the more you upgrade the compound of your tires, the less it coast pi, it’s unlogic. Cost of pi of Aero should be reworked too.

Also those low power full grip build have no respect for peoples around them (not all who use them but the majority from my expƩrience), when instead of that i see more peoples with build who have less grip, so more power, breaking more or trying more to avoid contact with others

Apparently the golf has been nerfed

May as well join a racing group :man_shrugging:t3: but that’s just how forza is and has been

The problem this game now is that speed is calculated way to hard regarding PI.
The broken Miata dominates with its 4,6 Handeling 4+ acc 4+ brakes and 1,9 speed
