Why is this car D Class? It’s direct competitor to the Dodge Charger and Chevy Chevelle. Has top speed of 150 - 160 mph and handles no different than the other two mentioned classic muscle cars. It’s really too much for D class I think…
Nothing of what you said makes sense… why would it matter if it’s part of the car pack? The point I was making is this car should be C Class not D Class.
If you want it C-Class why don’t you tune it then? I think the handling is a bit weaker than the other car mentioned, as the rear wheels always try to overtake the whole car if you step on the gas.
And I think it is normal for car pass vehicles that they did may have a little advantage in their class against the normal cars any one can get without paying some extra money.
The R8 makes a superior handling car in his class if tuned to the maximum level possible in that class too.
My play style is I keep my cars stock, drive/race like how they were/are (granted this game is not a simulator). I wanted to be able to race with competing cars without having to upgrade. The handling is not much different than the others. Majority of classic (and newer) muscle cars are very torquey. The performance is pretty much the same, my father and I free roam drag raced. He had the Charger and I was in the Cyclone and both performed about the same. Both cars stock. Same settings, etc. They also have the 68 Mustang and the 65 Mustang pretty much the same PI. The 68 has a much bigger high performance engine than the 65 and handles better. Sorry for the rant but as a muscle car enthusiast it confuses and frustrates me. Just wanted an idea as to how they do the PI calculations. Thanks.
I play the exact same way. And except for some specific PR stunts (which requires to have a specific model tuned to a specific class, that I remove right after completing the challenge anyway) I did all races with my cars stock.
And I perfectly understand your point. I had the same observation on the cyclone. It’s a shame and doesn’t make any sense as for its class. Great looking car btw.
Because you don’t care doesn’t mean nobody cares. I play all classes from D to X. And like other players already mentioned in this forum I would say racing D and C in FH5 is more fun as it was before in FH4…
I care about all classes including D class. Rubbish for what?
The game isn’t just about racing online ramming each other with S2/X class, V12 swapped 1000+hp AWD hypercars. Hopefully and thankfully. It’s about enjoying all type of cars, performance, designs and eras.
I enjoy driving all type of cars, and muscle cars in this game are pretty fun to slide around with huge torque and V8 sounds. Also they look amazing and I certainly enjoy them much more than all these tasteless hard tuned X class hypercars that drive and sound the same.
Comparing stats with the Charger and Chevelle, the Cyclone is heavier and has lower HP and torque figures. Have you tried any rivals or drag strip comparisons between them?
No because they are different classes, it’s not like in FH1 where a person could race with different classes. If this were the case, I wouldn’t be crying as much about it lol
And yeah the figures are a little lower, but I wouldn’t think it would be a whole class lower
I hear what you are saying. I was just talking about benchmarking times that they perform under the same conditions rather than trying to race them. It could be a cool find if it is actually underrated, and wouldn’t surprise me.
The Chevelle was past redline in 4th gear, Charger was pushing redline in 4th, Cyclone was past redline in 3rd gear and still has 4th to go. Seems like it is pushing above its weight.
Thanks for doing that. I know the Cyclone has some more bells and whistles, it’s a Mercury after all, but not enough to slow it down to D Class lol It’ll be my cruiser and occasional drag racer with friends/family. It was on my wishlist and I’m satisfied it’s even in the game
