If they promise to fully rescan and remodel these requested cars. I would be happy to pay them for the effort!
Car packs featuring such accurate, high resolution & remodeled models in, for example, JDM Haven Pack, Community Car Pack and Retro Supercar Pack would be WAY more welcome.
I was thinking: if SLR 722 Edition will be added, that one will be in a DLC Car pack. For the base SLR, it won’t be a DLC.
I almost forgot one thing:
You know Ubisoft’s racing game - The Crew? the original game had a decent storyline which is all about revenge against the death of the main character’s brother, it’s like an Action movie. And what happens in The Crew 2? It turned into a friendly funland of Racing and Motorsports rather than being a continuation sequel of the original game’s story. And Motorfest is a sequel of The Crew 2, which became a Forza Horizon alternate that PlayStation gamers can play, aside Xbox & PC.
The Crew 1 is shutting down very soon, The Crew 2 reached the end of its cycle now, and Motorfest is currently in support, and has improved its core gameplay elements that can do better than FH5 and The Crew 2. 
The Crew 1 will remain as a classic forever, but it will go away soon at the end of March. (which is literally this month now) 
And I’m also like you, mate. I even grew up playing old NFS titles as well like MW, Carbon, Undercover, and Hot Pursuit. But NFS right now, became boring as ever… Old NFS has better soundtracks like they have great rock & metal music, then new NFS soundtracks are garbage that they only get mumbly rap music that talks about drugs and other inappropriate stuff. 
I remember someone telling me the same thing on Discord, like back then, I didn’t care. But now, I realized that I got the point. FH5 is slowly turning boring already.
Wow, a game that has been going for 2 ½ years is getting boring for some, what a surprise.
Agree boring or not, FH5 is close to the end on this year, and I doubt if we can get at least some of the highest voting car before the last final season 
Yep, with all the content added in FH5 lately, some people will decide to quit playing the game and never come back. And they’ll play other racing games like Motorfest and/or GT7, or jump back to some old racing games.
Except for the many ones they have added in previous updates
good old day, I am glad I had an nice experiences during those OG racing game back then, and I will always missed the summer where I play FH4 all day long without feeling bored

Sooo… I bought The Crew: Motorfest, and guess what? They still have the SLR!!! It’s my favorite version of it, the 722 Edition.
And they also have the 722 GT as well. Ubisoft got lucky as they still have the licenses for the SLR since the first Crew game. And even Driver SF. (R.I.P The Crew 1)
I can enjoy driving the SLR in peace while playing it. Motorfest and GT7 are the only recent racing games to continue featuring it.

I would hope, but the licensing for SLR is tough for Forza devs at the moment, ever since it left the Forza franchise since FM6…
Thank you bro, but just like you, I play FH5 just to collect new cars only. And I didn’t buy FM8 ever since it released, so I got lucky I spent my money on a better racing game instead, which is Motorfest. On sale, of course.

I think it’s best to buy it right now on sale at the Ubisoft store, if you really wanted it so bad. The steam version, will be released in 2 weeks that some people can’t hold on waiting for the game to release on Steam, even if they wanted Motorfest already.
Well I will just wait a bit, currently the game still don’t had enough of JDM car in my prespective, it doesn’t even had any LEXUS car at all. But the gameplay is good though when I saw those clips
You’ll wait for the Steam release? and I’m guessing Lexus will be added eventually in the future, since Toyota joined the game.
I don’t think Motorfest is better they have actual micro transactions and the vehicles are too overpriced
