I want to take the time to thank T10 for this addition. It’s genuinely fantastic! Handles about right for what it is, sounds excellent, and is a genuine hoot to drive! This is something I’ve wanted in a FM game, as Super Racing Trucks are a great spectacle to see beltinf around tracks.

Do they have a truck division set up in free play for it or do you have to use it against other cars if you want to setup a free play race?
@vwpilot70 When i made K’ database addition for this pack, i didn’t find Division category that contains the Mercedes-Benz #24 Tankpool24 Racing Truck, the 1957 BMW Isetta 300 Export nor the 1969 Ford Brawner Hawk III (that was more surprising on this one).
The Truck is Awesome! But the chase view need to be fixed, is hard to drive with the cabin blocking the view, and no exclusive division? C’mon T10, i want to do some Formula Truck Racing!!!

I agree completely. Very fun vehicle to drive but they need to copy the Ford Transit Van Chase View Far setting and they have it made.
It’s in line with Turn 10 strategy and the FM series, they release great things, complete 95% of the job to be done but are incapable of completing it 100%. And alas we have a very promising simcade racing game but car divisions are screaming for a total revamp for so many months now. So many great cars in the game only to be bummed by garage limits.
What an awesome vehicle. I upgraded the brakes, removed the restrictor and took it for a spin on Nurburgring full. What a great experience it was. It does take awhile to get through all 10 gears, but once you get it rolling it is a great experience. I hit 140 on the back straight away. This is probably the most fun I have had in Forza 6 since the Lambo leagues.

As far as the topic goes: I agree 100% with the OP! I haven’t yet challenged the 'Ring, but I have taken it on Rio full R (top 5 track for me), Monza and just for you-know-whats and giggles, the tiny Long Beach variant. Which was hilarious to watch. I was genuinely surprised by how well it drives, and mainly how little it understeers.
I was surprised by how easily it takes damage at first, until I realized it wasn’t about the speed, but how much weight you’re hauling around. And when that much weight careens into the wall on the outside of the 90-degree left at the end of Rio full R’s back straight…
I have a HUGE problem with this truck. Its a good addition but the fact the diff doesnt even work correctly when its locked? it drives like it has an open diff even if its set at 100/100. I love drifting weird new dlc like this or the limo lol but the back view is awful and the diff doesnt work correctly imo.

I found the truck to be surprisingly good fun. I took it around Hockenheim and it went round really well.
The lack of division is mind boggling, of course we wouldn’t want to set up a race with a field full of Trucks would we…
I think the truck is cool ,but I was in and a class lobby with 4 of them and they were taking everybody out…I guess this will be the new crash car to use.

Love truck racing, let’s hope we get a Scania and a MAN so these monsters can have their own division.
No division to race these against each other was what turned this pack from “Instabuy!” to “Meh, maybe”. What a wasted opportunity once again.
I guess we’ll just have to hope that they explore it in Forza Motorsport 7 next year…
