Is it not possible to get this thing competitive in R class? No matter what I do, it always falls short. I can run a 6:31 on Nordschleife with the Zonda R, but with the P1 GTR I can’t get under 6:35.
Some cars are always going to be better than others whether they are homologated or not. From my experience, the Nordschleife is more of a speed-oriented track, and I know for a fact that the P1 GTR has a lot of downforce built-in, which would slow it down on the straights. The difference in top speed alone may be enough to set it back the 4 seconds you lost. Have you tried shorter tracks like Mugello and Catalunya? The P1 may have better luck there.
I gave up on that car. It understeers way too much, even after time spent tuning it. The downforce is also weird with 300 max up front and 600 minimum in the rear. I don’t know if that’s the way it drives in reality, but it’s not fun in this game.
I figured out how to get the understeer out of it, but it just feels like it has a hard time accelerating. Too much turbo lag or something.
